Abstract/Summary:
The professionalization of referees is an important part in the professional development of football,and it is also an inexorable law in the development of professional football,so the practice of professionalization of football referees is irreversible and has become a common trend.Since professional league was established in 1994,the professionalization of football in China has been developed for nearly 30 years,but China’s football ranks is relatively low in the world,therefore the development of football professionalization plays an extremely important role in football development.The professionalization of football includes the professionalization of players and the professionalization of referees.In recent years,professional football players have matured in various aspects such as salaries,labor contracts,and transfers,but the professional referee system has only just been implemented.In 2019,the reform of the referee system of the Chinese Football Professional League started officially,and five professional referees,including Ma Ning,were hired.At present,China’s professional referee system is still in its early stage,and various rules and regulations are not yet perfect,and it is necessary to continue to explore and study,constantly improving every systems and regulations.This paper uses literature method,questionnaire survey method,expert interview method,mathematical statistics method,SWOT analysis method and so on,combining with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,and analyzes the main needs of referees in China according to different demand levels of referees.This paper studies the characteristics of foreign referee training management,combines the current development status of football referees in China,and using SWOT analysis methods to analyze the advantages,opportunities,disadvantages and threats of China’s professional referee system construction.Finally,the road direction of the construction of China’s professional referee system is launched,and the development path of China’s football referee is formulated,and the theoretical reference opinions are provided for the professional development of China’s football referee.The results of the study are as follows:1.Establish a three-level professional referee system,including national professional referee,provincial professional referee and city(county)level professional referee;Professional referees training at each level shall be fully responsible by the relevant associations and provide policy support;The three-level system adopts the promotion system,from the city(county)level to the national level.2.The demand of active referees for professional referees is mainly reflected in the bottom demand.Therefore,the development of professional referees must first ensure the physiological needs of referees such as clothing,food,housing and transportation.3.Meet the safety needs of referees from the aspects of ensuring job stability,providing a good retirement security system and basic salary and welfare benefits.4.Strengthen the team building of referees and the construction of their sense of belonging to ensure the social needs of referees;Strengthen the cultivation of young referees and realize the youth of referees.5.To ensure that professional referees respect their needs,it is necessary to strengthen the publicity and ideological and moral construction of referees,improve the promotion system and supervision mechanism,and enhance the social status of referees.6.Provide a lifelong learning service platform for referees to maximize their personal value and meet their self-realization needs.
