How will advanced learning outside primary schools affect students’ learning of mathematics in the classroom? This is a widespread concern of teachers and parents at present.Through the combination of questionnaires, interviews and observations, this study explores the basic situation of advanced learning in primary schools, and focuses on the impact of advanced learning on students’ classroom participation.Research has found that advanced learning of mathematics outside school may have some positive effects on some students, such as more active classroom participation, more confidence in their own learning of mathematics, more willingness to demonstrate themselves in the classroom, and greater interest in learning. However,it can be seen that such a positive impact has a short time and a small scope. However, the impact of advanced learning and non advanced learning on children’s classroom participation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing is actually not significant, and the impact on performance is also not significant, and may even bring more negative impacts. For students who have good learning habits and absorb knowledge quickly,if they learn ahead of time and there is no new improvement in classroom knowledge on campus, then repetitive learning of knowledge is undoubtedly a waste of time for them, and they will continue to advance learning to meet their learning needs, but do not know when it is the end point; For children with relatively poor learning habits and slower absorption of knowledge,it is easy to lose interest in classroom teaching when they find that many content seems to have been learned. Moreover, because extracurricular tutoring takes up the energy of these children, they will start to "rest" in the classroom, and they will become increasingly tired of classroom learning at school.Their learning habits will become worse and worse,It’s really putting the cart before the horse.
