Abstract/Summary:
Objective: Exercise can affect the abundance and diversity of gut microbiota species.Long-term participation in exercise can make gut microbiota more diversified.Gut microbiota not only promotes individual health effects,but also influences mood and behavior changes through the complex microbiota-gut-brain(MGB)axis,which communicates with the brain.This research through to the southwest university of outstanding college students taekwondo athletes and motility of gut flora data collection of sports mental fatigue measurement and analysis of college students taekwondo athletes for the gut microbiota during the training period and variation characteristics of sports mental fatigue,further explore the gut microbiota and motility in connection with the sports mental fatigue.Methods: This study selected 11 elite college Taekwondo athletes who were preparing for the 31 st 2021 World University Games as the research objects,respectively,in the case of game before the start of training,for the training(4 weeks)after the mid and late for the training(8 weeks)after the athletes stool samples collected and measured its sports mental fatigue.High-throughput sequencing was used to obtain the species information of gut microbiota,and bioinformatics analysis was conducted to explore the change characteristics of gut microbiota of athletes during preparation training.Athletes fatigue questionnaire(ABQ)was used to measure the degree of sports mental fatigue,and one-way ANOVA was used to analyze the differences between different periods of fatigue.Spearman correlation was used to analyze the correlation between gut microbiota and sports mental fatigue.Results:1.Gut microbiota: There was no significant difference in the α diversity of gut microbiota at different stages of preparation training;The structure and composition of gut microbiota in different stages of preparation training were similar.The relative abundance of gut microbiota in the middle of preparation training was significantly higher than that before the training,including Veilonellaceae(P=0.028),Gemellaceae(P=0.045),Gemella(P=0.045);The relative abundance of gut microbiota in the middle of preparation training was significantly lower than that before training.At the family level,Lachnospiraceae(P=0.009),Xanthobacteraceae(P=0.019),Beijerinckiaceae(P=0.019);At the genus level,there were Agathobacter(P=0.016),Ruminococcus_torques_group(P=0.016),Dubosiella(P=0.019)and Bosea(P=0.019).In the later stage of preparation training,the relative abundance of gut microbiota in the later stage of preparation training was significantly higher than that before training.In terms of family level,Bacteroidaceae(P=0.047)and Corynebacteriaceae(P=0.013)were significantly higher than that before training.At the genus level,Faecalibacterium(P=0.047),Bacteroides(P=0.047),Corynebacterium(P=0.013),Veilonella(P=0.047);The relative abundance of gut microbiota in the later stage of preparation training was significantly lower than that before training.At the family level,Lachnospiraceae,Xanthobacteraceae,Beijerinckiaceae,Xanthobacteraceae and Beijerinckiaceae were found.P=0.019);At the genus level,Anaerostipes(P=0.047),Dubosiella(P=0.034),Lachnospiraceae_ND3007_group(P=0.019),Bosea(P=0.019),Eubacter(P=0.019),CAg-56(P=0.028).Lachnospiraceae_ND3007_group was the only species whose relative abundance was significantly lower in the late stage of preparation training than in the middle stage of preparation training(P=0.034).2.Sports mental fatigue: In the dimension of reduced sense of achievement,the latter stage of preparation training was significantly higher than the former(P=0.003<0.01);In the dimension of emotional and physical exhaustion,the latter stage of preparation training was significantly higher than before(P=0.001<0.01),and the latter stage of preparation training was significantly higher than the middle stage of preparation training(P=0.03<0.05).In the dimension of negative evaluation of exercise,the latter stage of preparation training was significantly higher than the former(P=0.002<0.01).In terms of sports mental fatigue weighted total scores,the latter stage of preparation training was significantly higher than the former(P=0.001<0.01).3.The results of correlation analysis between gut microbiota and sports mental fatigue showed that Anaerostipes was significantly negatively correlated with the reduced sense of accomplishment(P<0.05);The strain Raoultella was significantly positively correlated with emotional and physical exhaustion(P<0.05).There was a significant positive correlation with the negative evaluation dimensions of movement of Streptococcus(P<0.05),and a significant negative correlation existed for the genus of the unclassified_f__Lachnospiraceae(P<0.05).Anaerostipes(P<0.05)and norank_f__Saccharimonadaceae(P<0.05)were significantly negatively correlated with the total score of sports mental fatigue.Conclusions:1.There were significant differences in the abundance of specific bacterial species in the gut microbiota of athletes in different periods of preparation training;2.There is a significant difference in the degree of sports mental fatigue of athletes in different periods of preparation training.With the progress of preparation training,the degree of athletes’ sports mental fatigue becomes higher and higher;3.Gut microbiota is related to sports mental fatigue.
