Art,as a visual art form,can directly communicate the thoughts and emotions of creators and connoisseurs,and is widely loved by people.High quality art education can actively cultivate modern talents with high aesthetic taste and strong innovation ability for the country.In order to improve the quality of art education,educators should strive to create an art classroom environment with pleasant learning atmosphere,high participation of students and good learning efficiency.Traditional art education generally focuses on teacher teaching and pays more attention to knowledge acquisition,while experiential teaching focuses on students’ direct experience in hands-on practice.Experiential teaching respects the inner thoughts of students,so that students do not blindly follow the ideas of professors,but use their own knowledge reserve and life experience to think.It can better reflect students’ true feelings towards art teaching activities,strengthen students’ independent personality and critical thinking ability,attach importance to students’ feedback and accumulation of learning activities,and let students find the natural connection between art and life.This paper introduces the research background of experiential teaching and the definition of related concepts,expounds the characteristics,feasibility and practical significance of the application of experiential teaching in junior high school art curriculum,analyzes the existing problems and influencing factors in the current junior high school art classroom,and discusses the implementation strategy of the application of experiential teaching in junior high school art curriculum.Combined with the practice of experiential teaching in middle school art curriculum,it shows the application of experiential teaching in middle school art curriculum.The analysis of the teaching practice shows that the application of experiential teaching in junior art curriculum can effectively improve the teaching level.
