In the process of learning gymnastic skills,the phenomenon of motivation weakening and learning withdrawal has seriously affected the learning effect of current gymnastic skills learning.The change of learning motivation is the internal factor of continuous motor skill learning.The generation and reduction of individual frustration can trigger the change of motivation,so as to promote the reversal of individual motivation and keep the motivation of continuous learning.The most important step in the process of reducing frustration is to change the individual’s irrational cognitive process and eliminate the individual’s irrational belief.At present,rational emotion therapy is one of the methods widely used in clinic to treat the irrational belief of patients.This study integrates it into the learning course of gymnastics motor skills,in order to improve the irrational belief of gymnastics learners in the goat leg prance learning,reduce the generation of frustration and promote the reversal of motivation,and improve the learning motivation and learning effect of students.This paper uses the method of literature,scale measurement,experiment and mathematical statistics to discuss.Firstly,the irrational belief scale of motor skill learning was developed and tested.Then,students who could not complete the goat leg crossing in the gymnastics course of Tianjin Institute of Physical Education were selected as the experimental subjects for a 4-week cognitive course intervention experiment.During the experiment,the experimental group and the control group were measured before,during and after the scale,and the subjects’ cognition,emotion and motivation were tested and recorded.Through the processing and analysis of relevant data,the experimental data are discussed and analyzed in multiple dimensions.The results show that:1.The Motor Skill Learning Irrational Belief Scale(MSL-IB)is an effective tool to study the situation and behavior of the irrational belief in motor skill learning and to detect the irrationality of motor skill learners.It contains 25 items,and the questions are concise and clear,with good reliability,validity and discrimination,which can be used for the future research on the irrationality of motor skill learning.2.Integrating the basic steps of rational emotive therapy into gymnastics teaching arrangement can effectively reduce the irrational beliefs of gymnastic skill learners,reduce the generation of frustration,improve anti-frustration ability,and alleviate some emotions(such as interpersonal relationship,anxiety,etc.)to a certain extent.At the same time of the change of frustration and emotion,the motivation of continuous exercise was enhanced,thus improving the learning effect of gymnastics skills.After the complete cognitive curriculum intervention,the students had more correct cognition and behavior,and the second half of the cognitive curriculum intervention played an important role in the whole experiment.
