With the rapid development of Chinese economy,people’s material standard of living has been significantly improved,a large number of labor from rural areas to the city,and increasingly alienated from their hometown,the thick nostalgia has also become weak.How to inherit sb’s hometown culture,how to solve the young people’s cultural homesickness.Rebuilding the spiritual home of contemporary people are important propositions in the new era.The cooperation between the museum,whose educational function is gradually deepening,and the school,which provides compulsory education,is the solution.The mission of school is to cultivate students with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physical fitness,beauty and labor,spread knowledge,and cultivate students’ enthusiasm for making contributions to the construction of the motherland.Museums are also patriotic education bases and fields of cultural communication and exchange.The functions of schools and museums are highly consistent,and the classroom education of schools and the practical education resources of museums are complementary.This paper takes rural cultural education as the background,combined with domestic and foreign cooperation cases based on rural cultural education in recent years,and proposes the theoretical basis and feasibility analysis of using rural cultural resources to help the cooperation between schools and museums,to lay the foundation and accumulate practical experience for the cooperation between schools and museums,to build a practical model of the cooperation between schools and museums.After mastering the theoretical basis and experience of museum-school cooperation,taking the local resources and county museum of Changting County,Fujian Province as an example,this paper attempts to design a program of museum-school cooperation in primary and secondary schools based on the background of local culture education,summarizes five principles,deepen the practical development of museum-school cooperation,cultivate students’ feelings of hometown and country,and help inherit local culture and rural revitalization.
