The history of reform and opening-up brewed by the practice of reform and opening-up is the precious wealth of the Party.Learning and making good use of the history of reform and opening-up is a "compulsory course" to promote the cause of reform and opening-up.Young students are an important reserve force for the cause of the Party and the state.Strengthening the education of reform and opening-up history for college students will contribute to guiding college students to correctly understand the development of reform and opening-up,their responsibilities undertaken,and constantly struggle for the cause of reform and opening-up.The main body of the paper consists of four chapters.The first chapter is an overview of college students’ reform and opening-up history education,in which the relevant concepts are mainly defined,the internal logical relationship between "The history of the Party,the history of new China,the history of reform and opening-up,and the history of socialist development" is sorted and the theoretical basis of college students’ reform and opening-up history education is expounded,in order to provide academic theory support for the full text.The second chapter is the current situation of college students’ reform and opening-up history education,in which mainly the achievements and deficiencies of the current college students’ reform and opening-up history education are analyzed,the causes of the existing problems are analyzed from four aspects: educational content,educational subject,educational method and educational object so as to enhance the understanding of the necessity of college students’ reform and opening-up history education,and seek the internal basis for strengthening college students’ reform and opening-up history education.The third chapter is the theoretical construction of college students’ reform and opening-up history education,in which the objectives,contents and principles of college students’ reform and opening-up history education are expounded,so as to provide theoretical guidance for colleges and universities to develop reform and opening-up history education.In the fourth chapter,based on the analysis of the current situation and theoretical construction of college students’ reform and opening-up history education,the paths to strengthen college students’ reform and opening-up history education are proposed,including deepening the theoretical research and teaching of the history of reform and opening-up,establishing and improving the mechanism of college students’ reform and opening-up history education,optimizing the campus environment of college students’ reform and opening-up history education,and improving the self-education level of college students’ reform and opening-up history,in the hope of providing references and successful lessons for deepening college students’ reform and opening-up history education.
