Abstract/Summary:
The new curriculum standards point out that students should acquire the necessary basic mathematical knowledge and skills,understand the nature of basic mathematical concepts and mathematical reasoning,grasp the background and application of concepts and reasoning,and understand the mathematical ideas and methods contained in concepts and reasoning and their role in learning,and these requirements further indicate the value of the history of mathematics.With the advancement of curriculum reform,"History of Mathematics and Mathematics Education" has become one of the hot topics of research at home and abroad in recent years.The history of mathematics is the science that studies the occurrence and development of mathematical disciplines and their laws,and guides the progress of mathematics by exploring the mathematical ideas of previous generations.This study is based on this potential value of HPM to conduct relevant research on the current situation and teaching strategies of high school mathematics.Firstly,this thesis mainly adopts literature analysis method,case study method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and other research methods to study the integration of the history of mathematics into high school mathematics teaching.The research methodology and research ideas are presented.The current status of research on "HPM" and "basic inequalities" is reviewed to clarify the value and significance of "HPM" in mathematics teaching and learning,and the core concepts are defined and the corresponding theoretical foundations are elaborated.It also defines the core concepts and elaborates the theoretical basis for the integration of the history of mathematics into high school mathematics.Secondly,a questionnaire and interview survey on the integration of the history of mathematics into the teaching of mathematics in senior secondary schools was conducted in the placement schools.Based on the results of the survey,statistical analysis was conducted to clarify the current situation of the integration of the history of mathematics into teaching and learning,and the following aspects were found to exist: the history of mathematics is generally accepted,but the understanding is rather one-sided;the low proportion of the history of mathematics in textbooks leads to less frequent use;teachers’ own literacy is insufficient to support the into teaching and learning.In response to these problems and in conjunction with literature analysis and theoretical research,the six principles of education,breadth,applicability,diversity,authenticity and purpose are proposed for the integration of the history of mathematics into high school mathematics teaching,outlining the requirements and characteristics of the integration of the history of mathematics in a comprehensive and multi-faceted way.Thirdly,according to the three problems found in the current investigation and the six principles of integration,this paper puts forward the influence of environmental influence on the history of mathematics,which indirectly affects the penetration of teaching,from five aspects:environment influence,teacher quality,evaluation mechanism,teaching method and integration method.Improve teachers’ quality and enhance their awareness of infiltration of mathematics history;Improve the evaluation mechanism,improve students’ cultural quality;Using various teaching methods,making the teaching design of mathematics history;The effective integration of mathematics history and teaching content,the infiltration of mathematics culture teaching strategies,more detailed and specific HPM theory in classroom teaching has a specific direction,according to different teaching content,the use of corresponding mathematical historical materials,stimulate students’ interest in mathematics learning,improve teachers’ mathematical cultural literacy.Finally,a teaching case of basic inequalities is designed according to specific teaching principles and strategies.The whole case integrates the history of mathematics and mathematics teaching,analyzes the design intention of each teaching link and the specific teaching principles and strategies used,and proposes the final research conclusions and prospects to provide some references for front-line teachers and related researchers.
