A Comparative Study Of The Offensive And Defensive Capabilities Of The Chinese Men's 3x3 Basketball Team And Their Opponents At The Tokyo Olympic

At the 32 nd Tokyo Olympic Games,three-man basketball was first included in th e Olympic Games.The world’s top three basketball teams are gathering at the Tokyo Oly mpics,with both the men’s and women’s teams in the Olympics.After winning the 2018 Asian Games title and finishing third in the 2019 Asian Cup,the three-man team was hig hly anticipated by the Chinese at the Tokyo Olympics,but the team struggled at the Olym pics and finished in last place with a 2-5 record.In the game,the Chinese team exposed many problems on both sides of attack and defense,which need to be studied.This paper takes the attack and defense ability of 8 men’s basketball teams partici pating in the Tokyo Olympic Games as the research object,analyzes the indicators of eac h team’s attack and defense ability,and compares them with China’s men’s basketball tea m,finds out the gap between China’s men’s basketball team and the world’s strong teams,and provides reference for improving the competitive ability of China’s men’s basketball t eam.(1)The construction of the Chinese team is somewhat conservative.Although the av erage height of the entire team is the highest,the height difference among the members is relatively large,the average weight is relatively light,and their physical resistance is poo r.In addition,the overall age of the members is relatively small,and they lack competitio n experience,which to some extent affects the normal performance of the Chinese team.(2)The Chinese team relies too heavily on inside players in offense,with a single sc oring method,and their poor shooting ability,which is manifested by poor stability of fre e throws and weak outside scoring.Although there is no significant difference between th e Chinese team and their opponents in offensive rebounds,assists,and errors,they have f ailed to convert offensive rebounding advantages into game results.(3)The defensive ability of the Chinese team is generally at a disadvantage compare d to their opponents.There is a large gap between the stealer’s ability and that of the oppo nent,with insufficient defensive aggressiveness and a lack of good stealer awareness.Blo cking has certain advantages,but it benefits from the outstanding performance of individ ual players.(4)The Chinese team’s tactical literacy needs to be improved,mainly reflected in the defense,cover and coordination ability.Delay the pressure in advance,weak offensive d efense.There is a gap between the Chinese team and its rivals.Chinese team less use of s andwich,less aggressive,less rigorous degree,and uses more supplementary defense,pos ing a greater threat to the opponent.(5)European and American delegations to Tokyo Olympic Games three-player bask etball show the characteristics of average and generally high players’ height,combined he ight and weight,rich offensive means,comprehensive internal and external skills,and str ong confrontation ability.It is expected that the future three-player basketball games will develop in the direction of "position ambiguity" and "technical comprehensiveness" of pl ayers.
