With the promotion of quality-oriented education,the comprehensive quality evaluation has gradually become an important part of student evaluation.Its implementation has important value and significance for promoting student’s development,reforming teaching,improving the quality of talent training,and promoting enrollment and employment.In recent years,some provinces in China have issued official policy documents,which have greatly promoted the implementation of the comprehensive quality evaluation of secondary vocational school students.So,how do secondary vocational schools evaluate students’ comprehensive quality? How effective is its implementation? What are the problems in implementation? How to promote the implementation more effectively? These problems are worth thinking and exploring.This study first identifies research issues and significance through literature and policy analysis,and constructs a research framework based on various theories such as the PDCA cycle;Secondly,a survey was conducted on the current situation of the implementation of the comprehensive quality evaluation of secondary vocational school students.The survey content included three parts: implementation design,implementation operation and implementation feedback.The survey objects were three secondary vocational schools in Shanghai.The survey forms were policy text analysis,questionnaires and interviews.The policy text took Shanghai and the evaluation implementation plans of three secondary vocational schools as samples,and the questionnaire took students and teachers in three secondary vocational schools as samples,In the end,1487 questionnaires were distributed and collected among students,with 1324 valid questionnaires and a valid questionnaire recovery rate of89.04%.Among teachers,126 questionnaires were distributed and collected,with 125 valid questionnaires and a valid questionnaire recovery rate of 99.21%.Interviews were conducted on students,evaluation implementation managers,and class teachers from three vocational schools,with a total of 8 students,3 managers,and 4 class teachers as samples;Once again,analyze the survey results to uncover the existing problems and causes;Finally,based on theoretical guidance and practical investigation,several targeted and practical optimization strategies are proposed to promote the improvement and development of the comprehensive quality evaluation of vocational school students.The research results indicate that there are still some problems in the implementation of comprehensive quality evaluation for vocational school students,such as not fully highlighting the characteristics of vocational education,not fully mobilizing students’ active participation,not fully presenting the current situation of student development,not truly playing the role of multiple subjects,and not fully applying quality evaluation results.The main reasons for the problems are the lack of deepening understanding of type education,inadequate training for teachers and students,the trend towards further education in vocational schools,lack of close collaboration among multiple roles,and low differentiation of results.Finally,based on the problems and causes,several optimization strategies are proposed: firstly,to promote the development of vocational education types,on the one hand,to deepen the understanding of type education,and on the other hand,to improve the vocational education college entrance examination system;The second is to strengthen the systematic training of teachers and students,enhance students’ participation enthusiasm,and enhance teachers’ evaluation of professional literacy;The third is to optimize the content and methods of evaluation,add professional characteristic evaluation in the content,highlight student personality evaluation,and emphasize the combination of evaluation and practical teaching in the method;The fourth is to promote multi-party participation and cooperation,by enhancing government organizations to promote enterprise participation,eliminating information barriers to promote parental participation,implementing incentive measures for vocational schools to promote the participation of vocational schools,strengthening communication between the two schools to promote university participation,and improving the main body cooperation mechanism to promote multi-party role cooperation;The fifth is to promote the application of evaluation results by guiding students to reflect and summarize,providing relevant technical support to promote the application in vocational schools,and enhancing the usability of results to promote the application in universities and enterprises.
