Parent-child relationship is the most important bond in a person’s life.A healthy parent-child relationship provides the foundation for effective family education.Only through a positive parent-child relationship can the full potential of family education be realized.In today’s rapidly evolving era,upper-grade primary school students undergo significant physical and psychological changes,posing challenges to parent-child relationships.Investigating the current state of parent-child relationships,identifying issues and their causes and exploring effective strategies for fostering a healthy parent-child relationship hold significant importance for students’ development,family harmony and social progress.This study utilized literature research and questionnaire surveys to establish two major research dimensions: parent-child attachment and parent-child conflict.Here are the conclusions: Currently,parent-child relationships in families of upper-grade primary school are generally great with high levels of attachment.Although conflicts exist,they can be resolved effectively.In terms of differences,there’s a significant difference between male and female students in parent-child attachment.Female students have a higher degree of parent-child attachment and are more likely to establish an intimate relationship with their parents.Although there’s no significant difference between male and female students in parent-child conflict,the average score of male students in parent-child conflict is higher than that of female students.Male students are more prone to parent-child conflict.Mothers exhibit higher levels of parent-child attachment,while fathers experience higher levels of parent-child conflict.Parent-child attachment also varies significantly with parental education levels.Higher levels of education corresponding to higher levels of attachment.Parent-child conflict differs based on the family’s annual income.Higher income levels associated with lower conflict levels.Based on the aforementioned research findings,this paper analyzed the issues and causes of parent-child relationships and provided methods of improving parent-child relationships.The goal is to promote the positive development of parent-child relationships,and foster the healthy development of students. |
