| With the reform and development of Chinese culture,political and economic system,female employment discrimination has evolved into an important problem restricting China’s development,and has attracted wide attention from China’s experts and scholars.As the main guarantee and main way for women to obtain and retain property,women’s employment is the basic condition for improving women’s status and implementing equality between men and women.Women’s employment directly has a great impact on social development and stability.The analysis of women’s employment problems inevitably needs to make reasonable use of the professional knowledge of economy,politics,culture,law,society and many other disciplines.Only multiple analysis can present the reality of women’s employment in China.This article starts with the current situation of gender discrimination in female employment,points out that for the consideration of maximizing interests,or due to personal "preferences",enterprises in the recruitment and after recruitment,may cause injustice to women.The Chinese government has always been concerned about the employment of women,and has formulated more protective laws on their employment.However,the relevant laws formulated in China are still not perfect enough,without strong enforceability and operability,lack specialized equal employment management institutions,and professional employment discrimination litigation system.Based on the Marxist view of women and socialist core values,the theory of individual bias,labor market segmentation and statistical discrimination,this paper discusses the causes of social traditional cultural factors,completely competitive market economy,imperfect laws and regulations and hard quality.Finally,this paper proposes suggestions and countermeasures to promote women’s employment,covering creating advanced gender culture,changing traditional Chinese concept,improve employment discrimination legislation system,increase punishment,increase legal operability,set up special labor supervision department,improve maternity insurance system,increase social support system,realize the transformation of parenting cost to socialization,organize all forces to increase employment capital for women,and improve their business ability through training and lifelong learning.Combined with all the above,women’s employment is not a simple problem.For a comprehensive and diversified and systematic link,it is necessary to play the role of the government,and auxiliary judicial functions to truly achieve equality between men and women. |
