With the vigorous development of sports in our country,volleyball course has become generally one of the courses offered in colleges and universities,but the shortage in the teaching process is increasingly highlighted.In order to meet the needs of curriculum reform and talent training in colleges and universities,teachers need to constantly explore and innovate teaching methods in view of the shortcomings of traditional teaching mode in public sports volleyball courses in colleges and universities.The 5E teaching model consists of participation,inquiry,explanation,refinement and evaluation,which is a comprehensive teaching model for scientific curriculum design.Through participation,inquiry and other links,students can deepen their understanding of knowledge,promote the construction of their own knowledge system,stimulate their interest in learning,and give play to their subjective initiative to meet the diversified development needs.Therefore,this model is tentatively introduced into the public volleyball course,targeted teaching plans are designed,and the teaching effect is verified through experiments,so as to enrich the teaching methods of public sports volleyball class in colleges and universities.In this study,two classes in 2021 public sport volleyball course of Heze University were selected as experimental class(5E teaching mode)and control class(traditional three-stage teaching mode)by using literature data method and experiment method.Indicators such as physical fitness,sports skills,theoretical knowledge,learning interest and motivation were selected to verify the teaching effect of this model in public sports volleyball courses in colleges and universities.SPSS23.0 software was used to process and analyze the data and draw conclusions and put forward suggestions.The results are as follows:(1)After the experiment classes and that in comparative classes students in crook proneness,standing long jump,50 m and 1000 m test result is improved,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).(2)After the experiment classes on the ball,passing grades than that in comparative classes have significant difference(P<0.05),improvement the larger;But serve to standard grade difference is not obvious(P>0.05).(3)After the experiment class two classes students,to serve the pad has very significant difference in technical grades(P<0.01).(4)The experimental classes and after the experiment that in comparative classes of students in volleyball theory test difference was very significant(P<0.01).(5)After the experiment classes and that in comparative classes students in physical education learning interest and motivation,with significant difference(P<0.05).The conclusion is as follows:Through the empirical study,the feasibility of the teaching scheme of public sports volleyball course based on the 5E teaching model is verified,and good teaching effect has been achieved in volleyball teaching.The 5E teaching model has a positive and significant influence on the volleyball skills,theoretical scores,sports learning interest and motivation of the students in public sports volleyball course in colleges and universities.The five links contained in the 5E teaching model are more comprehensive and more in line with the development trend of the current volleyball teaching reform,which provides a new model reference for the reform of physical education in colleges and universities.
