Prose is a beautiful text,with deep meaning in every word.Since the implementation of the new curriculum reform,the language curriculum and teaching materials system have paid more and more attention to the education of excellent Chinese traditional culture,and the teaching of prose is one of the important ways to promote and inherit excellent Chinese culture.In junior high school language textbooks,there are many selected prose texts,and in terms of the requirements of the new curriculum for secondary school students in language reading,prose teaching is also one of the necessary ways to achieve its requirements.However,there are certain dilemmas in the current front-line middle school language prose teaching,such as teaching with a focus on knowledge,but not experience;students are impatient and cannot immerse themselves in the text and in the learning process.And immersion teaching especially emphasizes students’ subjective experience.In the teaching process,if teachers can fully mobilize all available factors and adopt various teaching means,such as creating situations,they will objectively help students enter the state of immersion,so that students’ learning will not be finished,their cognitive subjective initiative will be maximized,their learning actions will be changed from passive to active,they can fully enjoy the joy brought by learning,and promote the effective transformation of course content,thus revolutionizing the previous The main position of the students is fully reflected by the stereotypical teaching mode.Based on this,this paper examines the current situation and countermeasures of language prose teaching from the perspective of immersion teaching.This study consists of three parts.In the introductory part,the origin,significance,methodology and theoretical foundation of this study are firstly explained,and the important concepts of "prose","prose teaching" and "immersion teaching" are defined.The paper also defines the important concepts of "prose","prose teaching" and "immersion teaching".Through organizing and analyzing the related literature,the research results of prose teaching and immersion teaching are sorted out,and the research status of this research area is clarified,and the existing literature is categorized to summarize the strengths and weaknesses,so as to lay the foundation for the next research.The main part of the paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter explains the necessity and characteristics of immersive prose teaching in junior high school language.The second chapter uses classroom observation,questionnaires,interviews,and case studies to investigate the teachers and students in the selected schools,and then classifies the findings to summarize the current situation of immersive prose teaching in junior high schools.Based on the analysis of the previous two chapters,Chapter 3 proposes strategies to improve the immersive prose teaching in middle school language.The concluding part briefly summarizes the main contents and shortcomings of this paper.
