The first grade stage is a crucial period for developing students’ gross movements, and the KDL course meets the psychological characteristics of students’ liking for game practice and the requirements of the "Sports and Health Curriculum Standards".Purpose:To explore the impact of KDL courses on the development of gross movements among first grade students.Method:This study mainly adopts a teaching experiment method, selecting 60 first grade students(30 males and 30 females)who meet the experimental conditions to conduct a teaching experiment for 10 weeks,40 classes, and each class lasts for 45 minutes.Select the Third Edition of the Large Muscle Group Movement Development Test(TGMD-3)as an indicator to measure the development of gross movements. The experimental group used KDL courses as an intervention method, while the control group used regular physical education classes for teaching. The experimental results were analyzed using independent sample T-tests and paired sample T-tests.Research results:1.The KDL course has a significant effect on improving the displacement skills of first grade students(P<0.05).Regular physical education classes have a significant effect on improving running and side sliding events(P<0.05).Compared to regular physical education classes,KDL courses have a significant effect on improving sideslip and pony jumping events(P<0.05).2.The KDL course has a significant effect on improving the control skills of first grade students(P<0.01).Regular physical education classes have a significant effect on the improvement of two handed passing, overhand pitching, one handed racketing, and foot kicking fixed ball events(P<0.05).Compared to regular physical education classes,KDL courses have a significant effect on boys’improvement in underhand pitching,one-handed racketing, rebound hitting, and fixed ball hitting(P<0.05),while girls’ improvement in all control skills(P<0.05).3.After the intervention of the KDL course, the average score of male students’ displacement skills increased from(33.40±2.53)points to(37.80±2.24)points,while the average score of female students’ displacement skills increased from(34.13±2.23)points to(38.60±2.06)points;The average score of male control skills increased from(30.73±5.33)to(39.40±4.13),while the average score of female control skills increased from(27.87 ± 4.96)to(37.53 ± 4.15).In the regular physical education curriculum group, the average score of male students’ displacement skills increased from(32.93±1.75)points to(34.53±2.06)points,while the average score of female students’ displacement skills increased from(34.20±2.17)points to(35.93±2.31)points;The average score of male control skills increased from(30.60±4.91)to(33.53±4.03),while the average score of female control skills increased from(27.27 ±4.20)to(30.20±3.66).Research conclusion:1.KDL courses can effectively improve the displacement and control skills of first grade elementary school students;Regular physical education classes only effectively improve the two displacement skills of running and side sliding,as well as the four control skills of overhand throwing, two handed catching, one handed racket, and foot kicking fixed ball.2.Compared with regular physical education classes, the KDL course has a more significant effect on improving the two displacement skills of male and female students’ side sliding and pony jumping,as well as the four control skills of male students’ underhand throwing, single handed racket, rebound hitting, and fixed ball hitting,as well as all control skills of female students.3.Overall,the effect of KDL course on improving the overall level of gross movements of first-year students is significantly better than that of regular physical education courses.
