| The improvement of undergraduate education quality is the core of higher education quality construction.Teaching staff is an essential element for the development of high level undergraduate education.As the primary task of teachers,teaching is in the core position in the work of the school.Teachers’ teaching input is directly related to the teaching quality and talent training quality of the university.Improving teachers’ teaching input is not only an urgent requirement for the high quality development of undergraduate teaching,but also has important practical significance for the progress of the whole higher education.Based on the theory of planned behavior and the theory of ternary interaction,this study selected undergraduate teachers in colleges and universities across the country as survey objects through the questionnaire survey method,explored the influencing factors and mechanism of the undergraduate teaching input of university teachers,and built a theoretical model of the influencing factors of the undergraduate teaching input of university teachers.Among them,teachers’ teaching input is mainly divided into four dimensions: teaching workload input,teaching energy input,teaching ability input and teaching emotion input.The influencing factors are mainly divided into two aspects: external environmental factors and internal individual factors.The environmental factors include three dimensions: management system,teaching culture and students’ learning attitude.Individual elements include three dimensions: professional responsibility,self-efficacy and research and development intention.SPSS22.0 and Amos22.0 software were used to analyze the collected data of680 questionnaires.The results show that the overall degree of undergraduate teaching input of university teachers is above the medium level,with the highest degree of teaching emotional input and the lowest degree of teaching workload input.There are significant differences in the professional title,teaching discipline,university type,university location and teaching years of university teachers in their undergraduate teaching input.The teaching culture in environmental factors,positive learning attitude of students and professional responsibility in individual factors have significant positive effects on the undergraduate teaching input of university teachers,while the research development intention in individual factors has significant negative effects on the undergraduate teaching input of university teachers.Among them,teachers’ professional sense of responsibility is the most important factor affecting the workload input,energy input,ability input and emotional input of university teachers in undergraduate teaching,and the influence coefficient of this factor on the path standardization of each dimension of university teachers’ undergraduate teaching input is above 0.8(p < 0.001).According to the results,it is necessary to promote teachers’ actively participate in teaching and improve the quality of talent training.At the level of university management,we should provide sufficient favorable conditions for the undergraduate teaching input of university teachers by creating a good teaching environment and innovating the teaching evaluation and incentive mechanism.At the level of teachers,teachers’ professional development should be promoted by strengthening their sense of responsibility and improving their ability of independent development.At the level of students,teachers’ enthusiasm for teaching should be aroused by correcting their learning motivation and actively participating in classroom interaction,so as to improve their investment in teaching. |
