The intelligent technology education of the university for the elderly is aimed at solving the problem of the elderly mastering intelligent technology,and the theme is "intelligent mastery,intelligent adaptation,intelligent participation and intelligent integration" of the elderly.With the increasingly severe situation of aging population structure and the speeding up of the development of intelligent society,our country is about to drive into the "fast lane" of aging,accompanied by the urgent needs of the elderly for intelligent technology.However,in a sense,intelligent technology does not empower but limit the power of the elderly.Unable to receive basic tools such as intelligent technology,they are labeled as "digital refugees" and "digital poor people",and become the "vulnerable class" that deserves the least attention in the intelligent society,which also causes more and more elderly people to face the difficult dilemma of integrating into the intelligent society.Based on the fact that our country is gradually entering "moderate aging" society,how to empower the elderly to master intelligent technology to help them integrate into intelligent society? This is not only directly related to the physical and mental health of the elderly,but also closely affects the coordinated development of intelligent society and the construction of lifelong learning society.The intelligent technology education of the university for the elderly,with its advantages such as universality,management and organization,plays an important role in helping the elderly master intelligent technology,strengthening the application ability of intelligent technology and promoting the integration of the elderly into the intelligent society.Accordingly,how to provide multi-dimensional and multi-level intelligent technology education in universities for the elderly that meets their development needs,and help them master intelligent technology and cross the digital social gap is an important topic that needs to be solved urgently in the development process of the intelligent age.In terms of theoretical research,this paper takes the current research situation at home and abroad as the starting point,and takes Social Participation Theory,Empowerment Theory,Demand theory and Lifelong Learning Theory as the guidance to explain the implications and times value of intelligent technology education in universities for the elderly.In terms of empirical investigation,based on some universities for the elderly in Shandong Province,combined with questionnaire survey and interview,the current situation of intelligent technology education in universities for the elderly in Shandong Province was investigated deeply,including five dimensions: students’ learning,curriculum,teaching quality,teaching staff and facilities.Some elderly students,teachers and administrators are interviewed to present the realistic picture of the development of intelligent technology education in universities for the elderly in a more comprehensive and detailed way.Then through the analysis of the investigation results objectively and dialectically,it is found that the intelligent technology education in universities for the elderly in Shandong Province mainly has some practical problems,such as insufficient cognitive and driving force of students’ learning,poor appropriateness and integration of curriculum,obvious formalism and dissociation of teaching quality,weak quality and quantity construction of teaching staff,poor facility resources and lack of humanities.And on the basis of analyzing its causes,combined with the physical and mental development characteristics of the elderly and the actual situation of the development of intelligent technology education in the university for the elderly,put forward "strengthen the cognitive ability of learning,stimulate the deep learning motivation","set up appropriate course content,construct multiple course types","carry out authentic interactive teaching,guide the implementation of teaching objectives","strengthen the strength of teachers,improve the overall quality of teachers ","strengthen infrastructure construction,create humanistic learning environment" and other universal and extendable development strategies,in order to boost the high quality development of intelligent technology education in the university for the elderly,improve the suitability of intelligent technology education in the university for the elderly,and then promote the elderly to better grasp intelligent technology and integrate into the intelligent society.
