| Water shortage is one of the main difficulties faced by the severe rocky desert areas in my country.It is the only way to get out of the water shortage dilemma to promote the awareness of water saving for children.However,on the one hand,the lack of environmental education for children in my country.On the other hand,water saving awareness is an emerging field,and few scholars have carried out specific research on it.This study analyzes the current situation and causes of water-saving awareness among left-behind children in P-severe Shimo Village from four levels:community,family,school and children themselves: community level,lack of water-saving education;school level,limited water-saving education;family At the level of negligence in the cultivation of water saving awareness;at the level of left-behind children,there is a poor understanding of water use.Based on ecosystem theory and cognitive-behavior theory,this study takes left-behind children in P-severe stone desert villages as the research object,adopts the method of group work,and takes the natural environment and social system as the practical activities from the two aspects of consciousness and behavior.The content of the intervention is intended to promote the improvement of left-behind children’s awareness of water saving.At the level of awareness,three group activities were carried out science pupularization of water and human beings,evcavate local knowledge and teach scientific water saving.The aim is to promote the group members to have awe and attention to water through the learning of water and nature-related knowledge,and to share from the local water saving.Learn and master local water-saving skills,and learn how to use water efficiently from scientific water-saving.At the behavioral level,we carried out three publicity activities for cleaning canals,making rain collectors,and water-saving.Through participating in the protection of village water sources,entering science,and integrating into the personal experience of life,we implemented the concept of water saving,and finally consolidated the awareness of water saving in our hearts.In the practical evaluation,the author used a questionnaire on left-behind children’swater-saving awareness,and used the method of pre-and post-test comparison combined with observation in the process of carrying out activities to find that the left-behind children in the group had a high level of water-saving concepts,water-saving knowledge,and water-saving behaviors.Water-saving awareness is an area that has not yet been touched by social work in our country.Left-behind children are the main force for the future development of severely rocky desertification villages.Reflecting on this practical process,it is necessary for social work to achieve results in promoting children’s awareness of water saving,breaking the formalized water saving education centered on schools,and developing land-based water saving education with the community as the carrier.This research is only a preliminary exploration.In order to summarize the practice mode of social work in promoting water saving awareness in the future,the continuous practice and efforts of many social workers are still needed. |
