| With the development of China’s economy and society,a large number of rural people are attracted to the cities.Due to various factors,many rural children are unable to live with their parents and are forced to live and study in rural areas.As a result,a large number of rural children’s groups were formed.In recent years,there have been numerous reports of safety incidents involving rural children in China.The weak awareness of self-safety among rural children is one of the important factors affecting the occurrence of these safety accidents.This practical research comprehensively considers the age,receptivity,academic arrangement and other factors of left-behind children in rural areas.Primary school students are in the growth stage,and they have certain receptivity,so the research value is relatively high.Practical research on their self-safety awareness can also play a preventive role.Therefore,rural left-behind primary school students in School B are selected as the investigation objects of this study.In addition,8 group members were selected to form a self-safety awareness promotion group,which promoted the self-safety awareness of rural left-behind children through enriching self-safety knowledge,improving self-safety attitude and strengthening safety behavior selection.First of all,through consulting and sorting out relevant literature,to understand the research on self-safety awareness of rural left-behind children,and form a preliminary understanding of it.By means of interview,questionnaire and observation,the present situation and existing problems of self-safety awareness of rural left-behind children in school B are investigated,and then the needs of rural left-behind children are estimated from three aspects: self-safety knowledge,self-safety attitude and safety behavior selection.Secondly,the group work method is used to improve the self-safety awareness of rural left-behind children.Under the guidance of social learning theory,six activities are designed and carried out in a targeted manner.The service content of the activities mainly focuses on three aspects:self-safety knowledge,self-safety attitude and safety behavior selection.Each activity has a specific service goal.During the activity,social workers observe the specific performance of group members and record in detail from the aspects of group atmosphere and team cooperation.After the activity,the group members were assessed with satisfaction,the effect of the activity and the self-assessment of social workers.According to the evaluation results,all the 8 group members have achieved the expected goal and their self-safety awareness has been effectively improved.In addition,the group members had a high degree of satisfaction with this group activity.In the sharing session at the end of the activity,the group members all said that they had gained a lot and lived a very fulfilling life.Finally,the self-safety awareness promotion group is summarized and reflected on the experience,so as to better serve rural left-behind children in the future. |
