A Practical Study On Case Work To Alleviate The Difficulties Of Elderly Care In Rural Families With Multiple Childre

Family pension has always been the mainstream model of rural pension,but with the accelerated development of modern society,the traditional family pension model has been unable to cope with the current challenge of aging population,the elderly in rural areas are also facing more new pension dilemma.For rural families with many children,these pension difficulties are more prominent.If their children work abroad for a long time,the responsibility of supporting the elderly will not be equally distributed.Children blame each other,causing family support disputes;Taking turns to take care of the children makes the elderly feel that they have no sense of belonging,resulting in great emotional resistance and lack of spiritual comfort for the elderly.The practice from the perspective of social work,a family with many children in L village in X county,jiangxi province as the research object to carry out the practice research,through in-depth interviews,literature research,data analysis and other methods to collect data,analyze the L village,family pension status quo of the old man with many children,lack of solving dispute over their children to look after them,the elderly spiritual comfort and endowment,The main reasons for their pension dilemma are: unfair distribution of family property,disharmonious factors in the relationship within the family,children in rotation and so on.Social workers selected a typical family in L village as the service object and carried out a case study.With the help of the family system theory system,the family internal resources should be rationally controlled,the division of labor among family members and the supporting obligations and responsibilities of each child should be clarified,and the interview skills should be reasonably used to resolve the supporting disputes and ease the relationship between children.Using the social support theory,the author constructs a diversified neighborhood emotional support network for the client,and forms a relatively practical service system and scheme to solve the pension dilemma of rural families with multiple children.Social workers at the same time to social work professional methods and skills practice innovation,trying to explore the rural multi-child family elderly social work local pension model.This study proves that casework can play an irreplaceable role in alleviating the pension dilemma of rural families with multiple children.Social workers have the following thoughts in the process of research: First,in the early stage of case reception,the client is highly dependent on social workers,so in the process of case service,social workers should pay attention to training the client’s self-determination ability and give full play to the client’s autonomy;Second,pay attention to the way of communication with the client’s children,make full use of the skills of empathy,resolve conflicts,alleviate the pension dilemma;Third,casework requires high professional competence of social workers.Social workers should fully improve their professional theoretical literacy and the ability to carry out practical work,and use professional methods and skills to achieve the optimization of services.
