Since 1931,the CIE system of XYZ chromaticity has been used to describe colors.However,the system is based on the CMFs(color matching functions).The color matching function is derived from the experiment of color matching based on the theory of primary color matching and cannot explain the color perception process of human eyes like the visual theory.In 2020,CIE established a technical committee,TC1-98,with the theme of"CIE Chromatics Roadmap Based on cone Photosensitive Response Curves",dedicated to using the 2006 Cone Photosensitive Response spectral curve(Cone),CFs based LMS chroma system and its application.Color Difference quantization is an important research topic in the field of Color science,and Uniform Color Space and Color Difference Formula are important means of color difference quantization,which are widely used in color related fields.The goal of chromatic aberration research is to make the calculated chromatic aberration consistent with the perception difference of human eyes.Therefore,this thesis mainly analyzes existing chromatic aberration quantification methods and uses psychophysical experimental data to solve nonlinear optimization problems,and finally introduces a series of uniform color space in XYZ chroma system and LMS chroma system that can better predict perceptual differences and can be reliably applied.CIELUV Color Space was launched in 1976 by the International Lighting Commission and is used mainly by the television and lighting industries.In this thesis,the characteristics of CIELUV color space are analyzed,and a new uniform color space,MLUV,is established by modifying the brightness,chroma coordinates,red-green and yellow-blue coordinates of CIELUV.Performance tests using COM datasets show that MLUV significantly outperforms CIELAB,CIELUV,and MLAB color Spaces.Therefore,MLUV is expected to be used for color change analysis and color difference assessment,especially in industrial areas that rely on the addition of light mixing,such as color television sets,video monitors and lighting.This thesis mainly applies the recognized CIELAB and CIELUV models in XYZ system to the LMS and transition system XYZ_F for optimization and comparison.Thus,the blank status of color difference research in LMS space is broken.In this thesis,A new uniform color space m Lab_LMS,m Lab_XYZ_F,m Luv_LMS and m Luv_XYZ_Fcontaining parameters is proposed under the condition of maintaining the basic structure of CIELAB and CIELUV.Then,the above new uniform color space is used to predict the chroma corrected data set collected by CIE expert group TC1-55.Corrected The STRESS of the normalized residual sum of squares(STRESS)between the predicted chromatic aberration and visual aberration is minimized,which eventually leads to a nonlinear constrained optimization problem containing parameters.Through numerical solution,the parameters are obtained to determine a new uniform color space.Finally,the visual chromatic aberration data set is predicted as follows:BFD-P,Leeds,RIT-Du Pont,Witt,and COM-corrected data in different proportions were combined by them,and statistical significance tests were conducted,and it was found that the new uniform color space is partially improved compared with the previous one.This thesis has conducted some research on chromatic aberration under XYZ and LMS chroma systems,hoping to further improve the research on chromatic aberration under XYZ system and provide reference for CIE to improve LMS chroma system.
