| In the new era of "Internet Plus",social networking technologies have rapidly penetrated and applied to the field of academic communication, bringing about new changes in the mode of human scientific activities, and the emergence of online academic communities provides new opportunities for researchers to connect and communicate with each other. At the same time, the healthy development of online academic communities is highly dependent on the active interaction and continuous communication among users. How to attract and promote users’ academic interaction and reasonably regulate and guide the wisdom sharing of online academic user groups are the focus of attention in the current academic community.A detailed analysis of the user interaction behavior of online academic communities can help grasp the rules of user interaction in online academic communities,so as to improve the efficiency of relevant academic community services, enhance their value to users’ scientific research work, and promote the innovative development of online academic communities.Based on the existing research results, this study analyzes the interaction behavior of online academic users in four aspects: the overall interaction status of online academic community, the types of interaction between users’ questions and responses, the interaction levels and behavior sequences, and the interaction quality, based on the statistical analysis of the session contents of academic community users’ interactions.Taking the online academic community Muchong Forum as an example, this paper combines qualitative content coding with statistical analysis to analyze the posting and reply data collected from five subject sections.Specifically, statistical analysis was performed by coding the types of questions and replies, the sequence of conversation interaction behaviors and the quality of conversation interaction.SPSS 19 was used for descriptive statistical analysis,chi-square test,non-parametric test, factor analysis and regression analysis of the data, and R language was used for sequence analysis. The Main research conclusion is as follows:(1)Overall interaction status: inorganic nonmetallic users are the most active overall, with a high number of participants and a wide variety of user types, and a high efficiency of interaction,as well as a large number of lurkers.information science users are the least active.Users of humanities and social sciences and medical science show a strong willingness to interact, but there is a need to improve the interaction efficiency indicators such as the number of effective replies and the number of views.(2)Type of interaction:Type of questioning interaction: opinion questions are the preferred type of questions by users from all disciplines. In terms of disciplinary differences, humanities and social sciences users ask more opinion questions, while the remaining disciplines have a higher proportion of information questions. In terms of questioning style, medical and humanities users tend to use concise question titles, inorganic nonmetallic users are more concise in their question content, and quantum chemistry users tend to ask longer question titles and question content.Responses: Responses differed significantly by question type, with opinion questions usually eliciting wider participation, with inorganic nonmetallic responding better than quantum chemistry and information science.By discipline, inorganic nonmetallic, medical and humanities and social sciences users have more obvious question type preferences in response and browsing behavior.Type of response: the expression of personal opinions is a common tendency among users of all disciplines. In addition, users of inorganic nonmetallic, quantum chemistry, and information science show stronger informational motivation, while medical and humanities and social sciences show stronger psychological motivation.(3)The conversation interaction levels and behavior sequences: The overall conversation interaction level is superficial, and by discipline, there are more initial answer behaviors in medicine and humanities and social sciences, and more supplementary answer and additional question behaviors in inorganic nonmetallic, quantum chemistry, and information science, and the conversation level is more in-depth.The academic community includes four main sequences of conversation behaviors:question clarification, simple question-answer,answer expansion, and question negotiation, and the overall conversation structure can be divided into three parts:conversation initiation, conversation unfolding, and conversation discontinuation.(4)Interaction quality: The overall interaction quality of academic communities is medium or low, with disciplinary differences in that inorganic nonmetals, quantum chemistry, and information science have a greater proportion of medium and deep interactions and a higher level of interaction quality. The interaction quality levels of inorganic nonmetallic, medicine and quantum chemistry differed significantly depending on the type of questions asked, and the interaction quality level of information questions was lower.Combined with the analysis of session behavior sequences,it was found that negotiation conversation sequences with more supplementary response information and more complex response expansions and questions had higher interaction quality levels.Factor analysis was performed to extract the three metric factors of number of interactions, questioner activity, and questioning style, and the results showed that the number of interactions and questioner activity significantly and positively affected the interaction quality level. |
