In recent years,transparent LED screens have rapidly gained market share on their own merits.However,with people’s pursuit of higher display effect,in some special application scenes such as important celebrations,landmark buildings,concerts,etc.,the screen design requirements are no longer limited to the conventional rectangle,and the demand for irregular LED transparent display is rapidly increasing.Special-shaped LED transparent display has the advantages of good visual effect,novel style and large display area in this kind of scene.At present,there are some limitations in the system architecture of the standard screen control system,including the video data stream can only be divided in a fixed form,the mapping system can not be flexibly set,and the LED driving mode is single.In order to solve the problems existing in the current standard LED transparent display control system,this thesis designed a special-shaped LED transparent display control system.This set of special-shaped LED control system is redesigned on the basis of the traditional control system software system and hardware system,adding the editing of special-shaped screen,can customize the mapping relationship to achieve the distribution of video data flow,through the upper computer and hardware circuit complement and cooperate with each other to achieve the transparent display of special-shaped LED.Two types of playback modes are designed for different playback requirements and scenarios.The control architecture based on ARM and FPGA is used in the high resolution and large size abnormity LED transparent playback system.In low resolution,small size irregular LED transparent display system using high-performance ARM based control architecture.These two video control schemes complement each other and are better suited to various usage scenarios.The whole special-shaped control system can be divided into three parts: upper computer software,hardware control system and special-shaped LED display screen.The hardware control system can be divided into main controller and sub-controller.The key of the whole abnormity control system lies in the address mapping and data distribution of the abnormity display by the upper computer software and the data linkage between the upper computer software and the lower computer hardware.The upper computer software will store the processed mapping data or video data into the SD card and send it to the master controller.The master controller will read the video data of the HDMI interface or the VIDEO data in the SD card and send these data to the sub-controller after processing.The sub-controller receives and processes the data,and drives the LED transparent display to realize the abnormal-shaped LED transparent display.In this thesis,the feasibility of the whole system is verified by simulation,and a small shaped LED transparent playback system is built by designing the actual control software and hardware circuit.The actual performance and correctness of the system are verified by the actual playback experiment.Moreover,the compatibility and expansibility of the system are verified by playing special-shaped LED transparent display videos with different resolutions and driving LED display screens with different control modes.
