In Europe at the beginning of the 20th century,avant-garde art trends and genres represented by Fauvism,Cubism and Futurism emerged.Among them,the most extensive Cubism adopts the formal analysis of rational division,the structural reorganization of the law system,and the flexible use of media and texture,which brings conceptual reform and formal innovation to modern art,and is an important turning point in European modern art.As the greatest artist of the 20th century,Picasso’s Cubist style has influenced the development of modern and contemporary art to this day,and has been affirmed and respected by the world.After research,the author found that Picasso’s Cubist style was extremely clumsy and subjective creativity,which was innovative and interesting for the study of portrait painting in the junior high school stage where the author taught.This article takes the school students where the author works as the research object,integrates Picasso’s cubist art with junior high school art portraiture,and takes the five aspects of discovery,appreciation,imitation,creation,and feedback as the basic means of learning,so that students can understand the art style of Cubism,and at the same time use independent thinking,group discussion,student representative summary,teacher dialing and other methods,aiming to let students absorb the essence of the master’s works,stimulate students’ interest in learning,expand students’ artistic vision,and enliven students’ imagination ability.Stimulate students’ potential creativity,so that students can better express their intentions and interests in painting creation.The thesis consists of six parts: the first part is to study the number of times Picasso’s Cubist art is presented in the six textbooks of junior high school,thus studying the current teaching process of Picasso’s art in the current teaching process;The second part is to understand the artistic characteristics and artistic achievements of Picasso’s Cubist art,and to explore the intrinsic connection between Picasso’s Cubist art and the teaching of fine art portrait painting in junior high schools;The third part explores the significance of Picasso’s Cubist art integrated into the teaching of fine art portraiture in junior high schools;The fourth part is to explore the teaching strategies for integrating Picasso’s Cubist art into the teaching of fine art portrait painting in junior high schools;The fifth part is to practice in the teaching process,with unit teaching,so that students can fully embody Picasso’s Cubist art in the painting process;The sixth part summarizes the learning results and improvement of Picasso’s Cubist art into junior high school art portrait painting through the feedback of students’ performance in the classroom and the presentation of paintings and the feedback of after-class questionnaire surveys.
