| Geography curriculum standards are programmatic documents that guide the implementation of school geography curriculum;it is also the basis for the compilation of geography textbooks,geography teaching implementation,and geography teaching evaluation.Under the wave of international research on curriculum standards,under the situation of China’s further deepening of primary and secondary school curriculum reform,on the occasion of the promulgation of the Geography Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),a comparative study of the 2022 version of the curriculum standard and the 2011 version of the curriculum standard will help geography teachers understand and implement the new geography curriculum standards,promote the reform of basic education,and implement the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and cultivating people.This paper uses the literature research method,comparative research method and content analysis method to compare the two versions of the course standard in detail from the aspects of framework structure,course nature,course philosophy,course objectives,course content,and course implementation,and finds that the 2022 version of the course standard has not only added academic quality,but also made obvious updates in terms of course philosophy,course objectives,course content,and course evaluation,but the main changes in all aspects ultimately point to cultivating students’ geographical core literacy,cultivating new talents of the era,etc.Implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people.The teaching implications based on comparative conclusions include: first,to change and update the concept of geography teaching,to be people-oriented in geography teaching,and to pay more attention to students’ subjective status and students’ individual development;In the design of geography teaching objectives,attention should be paid to the integrity of the cultivation of geography core literacy and improve the evaluability of geography teaching objectives;In terms of geography teaching content,it is necessary to pay attention to the basic,contemporary,comprehensive,life and practical nature of the teaching content;In terms of geography teaching methods,attention should be paid to the use of teaching methods such as situational teaching,unit teaching,and interdisciplinary teaching;In terms of geography teaching evaluation,attention should be paid to the evaluation of geography core literacy and the integration of teaching evaluation.On the basis of "what to do" for geography teaching,this paper also uses detailed cases to explain "how to do" to help geography teachers quickly carry out teaching under the guidance of the 2022 version of the course standards,so that geography teachers can update their teaching concepts,optimize teaching methods,change evaluation methods,and more effectively cultivate students’ core geographic literacy,understand and implement the requirements of course standards,and implement the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and cultivating people. |
