The Influence Of Historical Nihilism On The Values Of Contemporary College Students And Its Countermeasures

Historical nihilism is a wrong trend of thought,which is based on the idealistic conception of history and denies the leadership of the CPC,the guiding role of Marxism and the historical inevitability of the socialist road with Chinese characteristics.For their own political purposes,historical nihilism falsifies historical facts and discredits historical giants,which has caused serious harm to the ideological field of our country.Contemporary college students are new to the times.Once they are influenced by historical nihilism,it will not only affect the correct value orientation,but also lead to the gradual marginalization of the mainstream ideology in colleges and universities.Therefore,the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,as an important part of building morality and cultivating people,must take the historical materialism as a critical tool,start from the law of historical materialism,refute the theoretical basis of idealistic history rooted in historical nihilism,deeply analyze its way of thinking to form a wrong historical view,and clarify the ideological fog.This article will start from the orthodox viewpoint of historical materialism and discuss it in three parts as a whole.The first part is an overview of historical nihilism and values.Through consulting the literature on "the impact of historical nihilism on contemporary college students’ values and the research on countermeasures",this paper expounds and combs the meaning,core ideas and new features of historical nihilism,the meaning and characteristics of values,and the significance of contemporary college students to establish their correct values.The second part is the impact of historical nihilism on contemporary college students’ values and the analysis of the reasons.Through empirical research on contemporary college students in eight colleges and universities in Wuhan,and based on the feedback of the questionnaire survey,this paper sorts out and analyzes the cognitive status,performance and reasons of historical nihilism affecting contemporary college students’ values.The third part is the countermeasures of the influence of historical nihilism on contemporary college students’ values.Through a specific analysis of the reasons for the impact of historical nihilism on the values of contemporary college students,and from the overall campus environment,college ideological and political theory courses and contemporary college students themselves,feasible countermeasures are formulated to resist the impact of historical nihilism on the values of contemporary college students.
