| After the reform of the new curriculum, reading teaching has made great achievements. However, some students have not yet fully mastered the methods of text interpretation, let alone carry out the complete teaching process smoothly.Against the backdrop of the popularity of traditional culture,it would be a good method for teachers and students to attain the reading teaching experience from reading instructional documents.Intensive Reading Guidance(hereinafter referred to as "Intensive Reading")is a reading teaching guide co-authored by Ye Shengtao and Zhu Ziqing, and has quite insights in reading teaching. In view of this, this paper systematically studies the "Intensive Reading",especially focuses on its part of approach to teaching process guidance and text interpretation.Meanwhile, the theory is put into practice by giving specific guidance on teaching close reading in junior high school, accompanied by a review of teaching designs and lesson plans in order to help make reading classrooms more effective. The main research is as follows:The first chapter systematically collates The Intensive Reading.Through the literature research method, this chapter examines the background, editions and selections of the book, and summarize the content of the book.As a result of this study,I find that many of the ideas and methods in the book inherit and develop ancient reading concepts, and that they have commonalities with contemporary new curriculum concepts and even Western theories. However, for reasons of the times, the book has many strengths but still has some shortcomings. Therefore,it is followed by the overall evaluation, for the convenience of later analysis and reference. The second chapter discusses the book’s guidance of the instructional process.Teaching reading requires a complete teaching process. The Intensive Reading divides instruction into three processes: pre-reading,discussion and training, and describes the tasks that teachers and students are expected to complete at each of these stages. This section analyses the book’s relevant discussion, taking into account the current state of teaching and learning,to provide comprehensive implementation strategies for the tasks of both teachers and students to facilitate a smooth teaching and learning process. The third chapter studies the text interpretation methods of the book. The approach to close reading of texts is integrated into the overall teaching and learning process in order to develop complete reading instruction.Intensive Reading set an example for teaching through detailed interpretation of six specific texts. In this part, these guidelines are summarized and purified, and it is found that the interpretation methods used can be summarized as inquiring reading method, knowing people’s papers method, reference reading comparison method, praising and excelling referring to the lack of method and reviewing the old and learning the new method.Analyze its connotation and relevant guidance of the book, combined with the current situation,to provide analysis for its practical application. The fourth chapter synthesizes the research from the first two chapters, analyzes the book’s inspiration to reading classroom instruction, and puts the theory into practice.Based on the results of interviews with teachers, this part aims to analysis the difficulties teachers have in teaching single reading, group reading and that of the whole,to provide suggestions for these three kinds of reading classes. In order to provide more intuitive reference, specific teaching design cases are attached to the teaching of individual articles and group articles, and teaching plans are attached to the teaching of the whole-book.Both teaching design and evaluation employ the text interpretation methods and teaching process guidance discussed in the first chapters. |
