| In our country,the important value of children reading has been widely recognized,but the research on the children reading environment and even the kindergarten library is lack.Children are the most important objects in the creation of the kindergarten environment.How to let children get a complete education in a comfortable reading environment is a problem that teachers should pay attention to.Previous studies on children’s reading environment have the following deficiencies: most of them only stay in the theoretical level;Research methods from the perspective of children are rarely used;The recommendations are not actionable.Therefore,based on the perspective of children and the perspectives of children and other participants,this study found the shortcomings of the original reading environment of kindergarten library,and optimized the reading environment of kindergarten library through action research.This study uses interpretive action research,comprehensive literature method,observation method,interview method and Mosaic method to explore and practice the transformation of kindergarten library reading environment based on the perspective of children.Based on the current situation of the reading environment of the kindergarten library where the researcher works,this action study focuses on the overall goal of creating the reading environment of the library based on the perspective of children,and follows the time logic of environment creation itself to carry out an action study of three stages and seven cycles.The first stage is to revise the design drawing and focus on the shape of the library in the original design drawing.The structure and color were modified and adjusted from the perspective of children and other participants.The second stage is to transform the physical environment.After the construction of the hard installation of the library,teachers and children jointly participate in the further improvement of the spatial pattern,soft installation and reading materials,and create a physical environment of the library from the standpoint of children.The third stage is to optimize the psychological environment.After the transformation of the physical environment of the library is completed,teachers and children further optimize the reading experience of children by focusing on the freedom and fun of the psychological environment.Through three stages and seven cycles of action,the physical and mental environment of the library has changed.In the physical environment of the library: the working face has a more sufficient amount of light,the color of the environment is from gray to bright,the placement of materials is more suitable for the function of the activity,the comfort of the environmental materials is gradually improved,and the depth and breadth of the activity materials are excavated.In the mental environment of the library,it creates a more quiet and peaceful comfort,gives more full freedom,and improves interest and pleasure.Children showed positive changes in environment creation and reading activities before and after action,as did other study participants to varying degrees.Finally,the paper constructs a "two-stage,four-stage,six-stage" reading environment creation path based on children’s standpoint.On the one hand,with the help of this path,it provides a new model for children to achieve personal ability improvement in library creation,and at the same time improves the quality and effect of library reading environment.On the other hand,it is hoped that this path,as a set of systematic practical thinking tools,can help researchers and educational practitioners to be more scientific in the process of children’s environment creation. |
