Physical education homework not only consolidates classroom content,enhances students’ physical fitness and promotes the spread of physical education culture,but also promotes the connection between school,family and community sports.The development and implementation of PE homework is not only guided by relevant national policies but is also gradually becoming an inevitable demand for improving students’ physical fitness.In recent years,the physical health of our country’s student population is not optimistic,showing a downward trend year by year,and problems such as myopia and obesity have become prominent.Guiyang,as the provincial capital of Guizhou,investigates the current situation of the implementation of physical education homework for junior high school students in Guiyang City,and studies and discusses how to rationally arrange sports homework and establish a scientific evaluation system at this stage,which is helpful to promote the development of healthy physique of junior middle schools in Guiyang and has certain reference value to promote the implementation of sports homework in surrounding cities and counties of Guiyang.In this paper,we used literature,questionnaire,mathematical and statistical methods,expert interviews,and case study methods to conduct a survey in six districts(Nanming District,Huaxi District,Yunyan District,Wudang District,Baiyun District,and Guanshan Lake District),three counties(Kaiyang County,Xifeng County,and Xiuwen County)and one county-level city(Qingzhen City)in Guiyang City.At the same time,in order to ensure the authenticity of the samples,the author conducted random sampling of the samples,conducted questionnaire test before issuing the questionnaire,and conducted reliability and validity analysis after collecting the data.A total of 1100 valid questionnaires were collected,including 100 from teachers,800 from students and 200 from parents.Combined with relevant interviews,this paper conducts an in-depth study on the years,content,load,students’ interest,detection and evaluation,reform system and other related contents of sports homework assignment for junior high school students in Guiyang.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn: 1)Guiyang junior high school students need to pay more attention to sports homework;2)Guiyang junior high school students sports homework assignment content does not take into account students’ interests;3)Guiyang junior high school students’ sports family supervision and students’ completion situation is not optimistic;4)Junior high school students in Guiyang have a low level of extracurricular physical education homework connection;5)Guiyang junior high school sports homework lacks scientific content construction and testing system.The study found that the main problems are as follows: 1)The management and supervision system for physical education homework assignments for junior high school students in Guiyang City is not perfect;2)The content of physical education homework assignments for junior high school students in Guiyang City tends to boost students physical growth modules,while the development of interests fits less;3)The participation and completion rates of physical education homework for junior high school students in Guiyang City are not high;4)The physical education homework for junior high school students in Guiyang City does not establish linkage system;5)The homework of junior high school students in Guiyang City lacks a complete content construction and evaluation system.In view of the above problems,the following countermeasures are proposed: 1)Physical education teachers rely on and interpret relevant policy documents,strive to improve their professionalism,and manage the number of assignments,time,and exercise load scientifically;2)The selection of projects should focus on promoting students’ physical growth as well as on fitting students’ personality characteristics and interests;3)To establish systematic supervision and testing modes,so that the real completion effect of students can be documented;4)Integrate social resources and building a value system that links school,family and community;5)Setting scientific and reasonable homework contents and building a perfect evaluation system.
