Political identity is the value orientation of ideological and political courses in senior high school.Political identity,as the primary core literacy of the course,is related to not only the establishment of teenagers’ ideal and belief but also the guidance of teenagers’ physical and mental development.Red Culture is the precious spiritual wealth of the Party and the people.Adhering to unity and diversity is one of the requirements of innovating ideological and political courses in the new era.Wuyi Red Culture which originates from the great party-building spirit,is composed of red spirit,red gene and red resources.It has long history which can date back to the founding of the Communist Party of China.With the guidance of Marxism,Wuyi Red Culture enriches and refines itself during the periods of socialist revolution,construction,Reform and development and becomes a dynamic and regional form of advanced socialist culture at last.As a regional red culture,Wuyi Red Culture not only has the strong educational value as Red Culture,but also has its own cultural characteristics.It is an important resource for promoting local ideological and political education and innovating teaching methods in senior high school.It satisfies the teaching objectives,teaching contents and teaching methods,having a strong consistency with the cultivation of political identity in the course of ideological and political education in senior high school.Developing and utilizing Wuyi Red cultural resources actively is good for cultivating of senior high school students’ political identity,which can not only arouse students’ political emotion,improve their political cognition,firm their political belief and guide their political behavior,but also guide students to carry forward and inherit the red gene consciously.Through the questionnaire study,it is found that although the integration of Wuyi Red Culture into local high school ideological and political lessons has made some achievements in the cultivation of political identity,there are still some problems such as the different grasps of the application of red culture resources,single teaching methods in the class and insufficient practical teaching of the course.After analyzing the problems,there are four reasons.Firstly,teachers are lack of teaching instruction and teaching innovation consciousness.Secondly,practical education atmosphere in senior high school is absent.Thirdly,The construction of red cultural mechanism is not perfect and the application of red resources in teaching is insufficient.Therefore,to optimize the strategies of political identity cultivation by applying of Wuyi Red Culture,we should follow the cultural education principles.They are the political principle,living principle and combination of history and theory teaching principle.To improve the effectiveness of political identity cultivation,we should implement more social teaching activities which associate in-class teaching with extracurricular teaching.First of all,teachers should strengthen the innovative design of ideological and political class,highlight students’ political and ideological identity from the teaching content,enhance students’ political emotional identity from the situational teaching and consolidate students’ political behavior identity in the assessment after class.Secondly,we should improve the mechanism construction,the development and the utilization of red teaching resource database,which aims to ensure the application of Wuyi red culture in ideological and political teaching.Finally,we should make full use of social classes to enhance students’ political beliefs by strengthening the construction of campus culture,organizing the extracurricular activities,and carrying out research and practice activities.
