Red family letters are the precious spiritual wealth created by Member of th e Communist Party of China members and progressive pursuers under the le adership of the CPC during the period of revolution,construction and reform.They no t only record household chores,but also record the social situation and historical event s of the times,carrying rich historical and cultural information.Salvaging and applyin g the personal experiences,family history,and social circumstances hidden in the red f amily script to the teaching of modern Chinese history in high schools is a profound e xploration of the historical value of the red family script,a beneficial exploration of e nriching history curriculum resources,and has important significance in enhancing the persuasiveness of modern Chinese history teaching.In the process of selecting and using historical materials from red family letters,history teachers not only need to pay attention to the growth needs of students,adhere to the requirements of high school history curriculum standards,control the amount of historical materials from red family letters,carefully identify false and incorrect histo rical materials from red family letters,recognize the auxiliary status of red family lette rs,but also pay attention to the unique physical and mental development characteristic s of high school students,so as to guide them to fully exert their main functions,grasp their acceptance psychology of red family letters Follow the basic requirements of hi gh school students’ cognitive psychological characteristics and emotional characteristi cs.Red family letters have a wide range of application paths in the teaching of Chinese modern history in senior high schools,and can be creatively applied to various teachi ng links.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the thesis is divided into four parts,specifically exploring the application of red family letters in the teaching of modern C hinese history in senior high schools.The introduction describes the research significa nce,relevant research background,research status,and research methods of the applic ation of red family letters to the teaching of modern Chinese history in senior high sch ools.The first chapter starts with the definition of the concept of red family letters,an d then analyzes the profound value connotation,rich educational content,and characte ristics presented by the red family letters.The second chapter focuses on the explorati on of the historical educational value of red family letters,and expounds the important value of using red family letters in the teaching of modern Chinese history in high sch ools.The third chapter proposes the basic principles and requirements that should be f ollowed in the application of red family letters in the teaching of modern Chinese hist ory in senior high schools.The fourth chapter analyzes the effective application of red family letters in the teaching of Chinese modern history in senior high schools from a practical perspective,and discusses in detail how to use red family letters to assist cla ssroom teaching,develop extracurricular activities,and expand the teaching content a nd space of Chinese modern history in senior high schools.The conclusion mainly su mmarizes the main viewpoints formed in this article around the application of red fam ily letters in the teaching of modern Chinese history in high schools,draws basic conc lusions,and proposes future prospects for development.
