| Event City is a new concept,and the corresponding evaluation index research is also a new research field.At present,there is no complete theoretical framework and system of the Event City,in order to establish a more scientific and reasonable evaluation index of the Event City in Zhejiang Province,this study is based on the relevant research of Sports Cities at home and abroad.By combining theoretical research and sample analysis,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,and 3rounds of demonstration and 4 rounds of panel discussion have been conducted on experts from Zhejiang Sports Bureau and scholars in sports-related fields,as well as 2rounds of consultation and feedback from sports authorities in all cities,counties(districts)in Zhejiang Province,and the core issues related to the evaluation index of the Event City have been comprehensively and systematically discussed.After the construction of the evaluation index of the Event City in Zhejiang Province,this evaluation index is used to evaluate the status quo of event city construction in Hangzhou,Ningbo and Shaoxing of Zhejiang Province,which further verifies that the evaluation index of the Event City in Zhejiang Province established in this thesis is reasonable,scientific and feasible.The main research conclusions are as follows:Firstly,the Event City is a city brand that relies on the resources of sports events,takes the city as the scope,takes the competition as the platform,promotes the development of local economy,society,culture and environment,and builds the popularity and influence of sports events.As a new type of modern life style,sports contains great commercial value and market potential,and is an important part of the transformation and upgrading of urban industrial structure.Therefore,sports can not be evaluated solely from the perspective of sports or cities,but can be evaluated comprehensively by using evaluation indexes based on the core elements of the event and the elements of urban development.Secondly,based on previous studies,this thesis mainly adopts Delphi Method and Analytic Hierarchy Process,and constructs the evaluation index of the Event City in Zhejiang Province after 3 rounds of expert demonstration,4 rounds of expert discussion and 2 rounds of information feedback.The indexes include 6 first-level indicators(Basic Qualifications,Event Resources,Event Industry,Event Talents &Intelligent Management,Mass Participation,Urban Development)and 33second-level indicators.Among the secondary indicators,there are 3 indicators of Basic Qualifications,7 indicators of Event Resources,6 indicators of Event Industry,5 indicators of Event Talents & Intelligent Management,6 indicators of Mass Participation,and 6 indicators of Urban Development.Thirdly,the weights of the 6 first-level indicators in the evaluation index of the Event City in Zhejiang Province are different.The weights of Event Resources are the largest(32%),followed by Basic Qualifications,Event Industry and Mass Participation(all at 17%),Event Talents & Intelligent Management is 11%,and the weights of Urban Development are the lowest(6%).This reflects that in the current evaluation work of the Event City in Zhejiang Province,we need to pay full attention to the factors of the Event Resources.From the weight of the secondary indicator,in the actual Event City evaluation work,the Basic Qualification,should pay attention to the First-Class Venues and First-Class Events;In terms of Event Resources,we should pay more attention to the role of the Professional Sports Clubs.In the Event Industry,we should attach importance to the factors of the Fan Index and pay attention to the consumption of sports events.In terms of Event Talents & Intelligent Management,we should pay attention to the factors of the Referee Team of the event.In terms of Mass Participation,attention should be paid to the factors of the Number of People who Regularly Take Part in Physical Exercise;In terms of Urban Development,we should give equal importance to urban infrastructure and transportation,urban civilization and quality of life,urban internationalization and urban core competitiveness.Fourthly,the evaluation index of the Event City in Zhejiang Province is used to evaluate Hangzhou,Ningbo and Shaoxing of Zhejiang Province,and the feasibility and rationality of the evaluation index are tested in practical application.Hangzhou,Ningbo and Shaoxing are selected as city samples for evaluation,and the final judgment is that Hangzhou basically meets the standard of event city,Ningbo is a potential event city in Zhejiang Province,while Shaoxing city still has a big gap.According to the results and conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward: 1.Establish a unified statistical standard and database of sports event data,and adopt diversified collection means,for example,Zhejiang Province can make good use of the advantages of a Digital Province and intelligent software such as Zhejiang Provincial Office,so as to realize the network filling of sports event data across the province,improve the effectiveness and convenience of data use;2.With the development of sports events and cities,the evaluation index of the Event City should be regularly revised and constantly improved,such as revising every 5 years,increasing the weight of key indicators and refining the content of indicators,so as to meet the realistic needs of the evaluation of the event city;3.Make good use of the directional and signage role of the evaluation index of the Event City in Zhejiang Province.According to the scoring results,Hangzhou should focus on the Event Industry module with low scoring rate,while Ningbo should focus on the Three A-list Indicators of Basic Qualifications and the development of Mass Participation,so as to build itself into a real event city as soon as possible;Shaoxing should make up for the shortcomings in Basic Qualifications,Event Industry,Mass Participation and Urban Development to achieve high-quality development of urban sports and lay a solid foundation for the construction of an event city. |
