Modern and contemporary poetry is the product of the combination of Chinese and Western.On the one hand,it retains the mark of the old poetry and follows the creative techniques of Chinese classical poetry.On the other hand,it draws lessons from the expression skills of western poetry creation.It has the characteristics of The Times in language,culture and thinking.In the new period of Chinese teaching,modern and contemporary poetry,like other literary works,plays an important role in cultivating students’ literary appreciation ability and ideological values,so modern and contemporary poetry should be paid attention to in the teaching practice.The author pays attention to a mature literary theory in the modern West--the theory of textual hierarchy.The theory of textual hierarchy advocates that the text is divided into different levels,and each level has its own uniqueness.After the introduction of text hierarchy theory into China,scholars have made critical development on it.The author believes that poetry can most intuitively reflect the levels of texts.Therefore,the author introduces the theory of text levels into the teaching of modern and contemporary poetry,hoping to make the interpretation and teaching of modern and contemporary poetry texts have levels and break through the mode of teaching from one Angle.With the support of the theory of text hierarchy,it makes the interpretation of modern and contemporary poetry have depth in the process of analyzing the text hierarchy.This paper focuses on the core problem of "how to conduct the teaching design of modern and contemporary poetry under the guidance of the theory of text hierarchy".This article mainly divides into four parts,the first combed the text hierarchy theory development and Chinese scholars on the theory point of view,and through the connotation of the hierarchy theory of interpretation of the text to find any literary works can be divided into its text level,the hierarchy of the text is analyzed in this paper,the modern and contemporary poetry and build the theoretical framework.Secondly,from two aspects of the conditions and values of the combination of text hierarchy theory and modern and contemporary poetry teaching,the feasibility analysis of modern and contemporary poetry teaching under the guidance of text hierarchy theory is demonstrated.Then this article,by combining with the example of modern and contemporary poetry teaching design based on the theory of the text level strategy,respectively from the teaching goal,teaching method,teaching process and teaching evaluation four angles respectively to the sounds of the modern and contemporary poetry text layer structure,structure layer,image,artistic conception and emotional value to carry on the design.Finally,starting from the reality of textual level teaching design of modern and contemporary poetry,the author selects two modern poems "Standing on the Edge of the Earth to sound the Horn" and "On the Side of Eriduo Snowy Peak" as examples to carry out teaching design and reflect on them according to the teaching design strategies mentioned above.
