STEAM education is a new teaching concept based on the cultivation of innovative talents.Since its birth,it has received high attention and research from all over the world.The salient point of the STEAM education concept is interdisciplinary learning,which advocates breaking disciplinary boundaries,integrating multidisciplinary knowledge,encouraging and guiding students to conduct interdisciplinary exploration and learning in knowledge fields such as nature and humanities,and building a multidisciplinary knowledge network to solve social problems.Practical problems in life,cultivate students’ core literacy and key abilities,thereby promoting students’ all-round development.This paper attempts to integrate the STEAM education concept into the high school history school-based curriculum,and conducts a practical exploration of the high school history school-based curriculum teaching based on the STEAM education concept.By understanding the development of the STEAM education concept and the current situation of its application in high school history teaching,based on the history curriculum standards of ordinary high schools in my country,and referring to the history school-based curriculum and the core concepts of STEAM education,a high school history school-based curriculum based on the STEAM education concept is designed.Teaching design concepts,principles,and target design and development models.Interpret and learn from the classic STEAM teaching practice cases at home and abroad,focus on the high school history school-based curriculum,and introduce the STEAM education concept to design the classroom teaching structure.After the research and analysis of the high school history school-based curriculum,a teaching case of the high school history school-based curriculum based on the STEAM education concept was constructed,and the teaching practice was carried out in the first grade.After teaching,students are surveyed on classroom satisfaction,combined with front-line teacher interviews,to obtain feedback on case teaching design and teaching practice results,as well as teachers’ views and suggestions on the application of STEAM concepts in middle schools.The results of questionnaires and interviews show that the teaching practice research has achieved good results: the case teaching design of high school history school-based courses based on the STEAM education concept has effectively improved students’ interest in inquiry and participation in course teaching;the implementation of STEAM teaching projects will help students establish interdisciplinary Learning awareness,build a knowledge network sy STEM;further cultivate and implement the core literacy of the discipline,and promote the all-round development of students.Most students adapt to and like the teaching of high school history school-based courses based on the STEAM education concept.
