| As the highest level of China’s education system,postgraduate education is an important symbol to measure a country’s development level and development potential.At present,the enrollment scale of postgraduate students in China has reached millions.Improving the quality of postgraduate education and cultivating high-quality talents have become the priority among priorities of postgraduate education from scale development to connotative development.As an important indicator of the quality of students’ process learning,learning engagement is also a key factor and necessary guarantee of the quality of education personnel training.Improving students’ learning input has become an important way to guarantee and improve the quality of education personnel training.Through reviewing existing studies,this study found that family background,as an congenital factor,has an important impact on postgraduate students’ learning engagement and also affects postgraduate students’ enrollment motivation.Through literature review centers on the research focus,From the perspective of family social capital and enrollment motivation,the study investigates the influences of both on master students’ learning engagement,explores the mediating role of enrollment motivation in the family social capital and learning engagement of postgraduate students.the study aims to reveal the relationship between family social capital and learning engagement more comprehensively,and provide practical guidance and suggestions for postgraduate students to improve their learning engagement.Through the questionnaire and interview for collecting data and materials,and then use SPSS25.0 and AMOS to process the data and build the mediation model.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn :1.the family social capital of postgraduates’ self-evaluation is generally good,and the stock of social capital in the family is higher than that outside the family;The motivation of postgraduate students is in the middle level,and the internal motivation level is higher than the external motivation level.Compared with social capital outside the family,social capital within the family has a stronger positive predictive power for postgraduate students’ enrollment motivation.2.postgraduate students’ learning engagement is at a medium level,and their behavioral engagement needs to be improved.Social capital within the family has a greater impact on master’s learning engagement and its various dimensions,while social capital outside the family has a smaller positive effect on it,and even has a negative effect.3.Enrollment motivation has a positive influence on postgraduate students’ learning engagement;Compared with external motivation,internal motivation has a greater predictive effect on learning engagement and its dimensions.4.Bootstrap method was used to test that internal motivation partially mediates the impact of social capital on cognitive investment,emotional investment and behavioral investment of postgraduates’ families.AMOS was used to construct corresponding mediating effect models,and the obtained models all have good fitting degree.According to the conclusion of the study,in order to improve the level of learning engagement of postgraduate students and help improve the quality of postgraduate education,families should pay attention to creating a close and harmonious atmosphere and provide effective psychological support;Individuals need to correct the motivation of admission,clear the postgraduate learning objectives and planning;Schools should strengthen psychological guidance and study guidance to compensate families for the lack of social capital. |
