After entering the 21 st century,with the development of high technology,we have ushered in the era of information technology which is advancing with each passing day.Information technology is invisibly penetrating into every aspect of people’s work,life and study,changing people’s original ways.In this wave of reform of the times,education has also been influenced by the revolutionary impacts of information technology.However,the application of information technology in rural elementary school teaching has not obtained good teaching effects due to the teaching resources and teachers’ strength.In order to let every rural child enjoy a fair education of quality,the application of information technology in rural primary schools teaching should be strengthened.In this thesis six rural primary schools in District H,Putian City,Fujian Province,are selected as the subjects of investigation,of research methods concluded such as literature research,classroom observation,questionnaire survey and interview to conduct an in-depth investigation and research on the current situation of information technology application in rural primary schools.Firstly,through questionnaire survey data,classroom observation and interview content,the following problems were found to exist in the application of information technology in rural primary schools.The construction of education information technology infrastructure in rural primary school is weak;the construction of digital education resources for school information technology needs to be improved;teachers’ ability to apply information technology is low;there are obstacles for teachers to use information technology in teaching;teachers’ information technology training is unreasonable;The information literacy of students is not high;the integration of information technology and curriculum is not effective.Secondly,four aspects of the existing problems are analyzed,including school level,teacher level,student level and IT and curriculum integration.Finally,based on the problem analysis,some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.The funding channels should be broadened and the allocation of high-quality resources should be balanced.The teachers’ IT application ability should be improved and the information-based teaching should be promoted;The arrange teachers’ training contents should be reasonably arranged according to the actual situation of rural primary schools.The students’ learning interests should be stimulated and the information literacy should be improved.The integration of IT and the related curriculums should be focused on in order to optimize rural primary school teaching. |
