| Reverse teaching design is a teaching design model for conventional teaching design,which requires teachers to change the original cause-led teaching design thinking and transform it into the teaching design thinking of holding on to the cause.The specific process is to first determine the teaching objectives,then design the evaluation criteria,and finally carry out learning activities.Compared with the design process of conventional instructional design,the advantages of reverse instructional design are embodied in two aspects.On the one hand,the guiding role of teaching objectives on the teaching process is more clear.Experienced teachers can adapt the teaching style and teaching content according to the students’ classroom performance to help students achieve the preset teaching goals,but new teachers are difficult to achieve.New teachers are prone to the problem of teaching objectives are inconsistent with actual teaching processes.Reverse teaching design is based on the learning results,before the teaching activities are carried out,set the evaluation standards,and carry out teaching around the evaluation standards to make the teaching more targeted and operational.On the other hand,continuous teaching evaluation can improve the teaching effect.In conventional teaching design,teaching evaluation focuses on the examination of basic knowledge or basic skills,and lacks the evaluation of teachers’ teaching process and students’ cognitive process.Reverse teaching design emphasizes continuous teaching evaluation,and teaching,learning and evaluation are carried out simultaneously to promote each other.Teaching and evaluation in reverse instructional design revolves around the student learning process,promoting continuous teaching improvement by teachers and promoting more effective learning for students.Contrarian instructional design pursues instructional design based on understanding,how to promote student understanding,reverse instructional design believes that teaching should be organized around the following three questions: What is the student’s expected understanding? How to prove a student’s understanding? How does teaching help students demonstrate expected understanding?Therefore,the core goal of this paper is to promote the development of students’ historical understanding through the study of reverse instructional design patterns.Specifically,this paper mainly starts from three parts,the first part expounds the connotation and process of reverse teaching design;the second part starts from the three basic processes of reverse teaching design,combines the characteristics of history disciplines,and explores the key elements of high school history teaching design that points to understanding;the third part is the practical part,in order to facilitate understanding and operation,take the fourth unit of Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Volume One)as an example,carry out reverse teaching design attempts that point to understanding,and give application templates and operational suggestions. |
