| Since ancient times,the country has paid more and more attention to the development of education,and educators were constantly striving to find a teaching model that is more suitable for primary and secondary school students.Given the current situation of education in China,professor Zhang Xuexin of psychology at Fudan University proposed the teaching mode of “PAD class”,which divides the class into two parts and adds group discussion on the basis of the original lecturing class.The new teaching mode of the “PAD class” has been fully recognized and valued in domestic universities,primary and secondary schools.Many educational researchers have applied“PAD class” to primary and secondary schools in order to change the traditional teaching mode and let students become the master of learning.The content of this thesis is to point the idea of PAD class to the geometry of the junior middle school mathematics teaching,the teaching design of combination in the form of lectures and discussion,“Liang Kaobang” add features homework,help students in independent study and group discussion to improve learning mathematics interests,enhance the enthusiasm and initiative of learning mathematics,improve the students’ mathematics accomplishment.The research in this thesis uses literature research,empirical research,observation,and interview methods.By comparing students’ classroom performance,regular homework,academic achievement before and after the experiment and interviews with teachers and students,the following three points are the main findings of this thesis.(1)Geometry teaching based on the idea of PAD class in junior middle school mathematics is beneficial to improve students’ interests in mathematics.By comparing the class performance before and after the experiment,it is found that after the teaching time is shortened,students’ attention in class is more focused,the desire to share in the discussion is enhanced,and the classroom atmosphere is gradually active.From the interviews with teachers and students,it can be concluded that students prefer the discussion class and improve their interests in mathematics learning during the discussion.(2)Geometry teaching based on the idea of PAD class in junior middle school mathematics is beneficial to enhance students’ initiative and enthusiasm in learning mathematics.Class performance by comparing before and after the experiment of the situation found that student participation in the process of discussion is gradually improving,the interaction between teachers and students,in the student interview to understand not only in class time,students will also discuss often maintain the state of free time,students initiative and enthusiasm to learn math has been enhanced.(3)Geometry teaching based on the idea of PAD class in junior middle school mathematics is beneficial to improve students’ mathematical accomplishment.By comparing students’ homework and academic performance before and after the experiment,it is found that the quality of students’ homework is improved,their grades are also improved,their understanding of geometry knowledge is more thorough,and they have a variety of problem-solving methods.While completing the homework of“Liang Kaobang”,we should constantly improve geometric intuition,reasoning ability and innovation consciousness. |
