Through the analysis of the first mock examination and the second mock examination physics examination questions from 2019 to 2022 in various parts of Shandong Province,a large number of questions tend to test students’ proficiency in physics knowledge,but lack of examination on the application and transfer of knowledge.Even if some questions involve this aspect,the questions are usually given a simplified physical situation.In this situation,when students encounter situational physics problems or practical problems in life,they often will be at a loss.The fundamental reason is that students gradually lose the ability to construct physical models through practical problems and use the knowledge learned to solve practical problems.Teachers pay more attention to students’ mastery of knowledge,while ignoring the cultivation of students’ physical modeling ability.Since the promulgates of the new curriculum standards of ordinary high school physics in 2017,the core literacy of physics,scientific thinking,model construction has entered the vision of the majority of front-line teachers.The ability to train students to analyze and solve problems has gradually been paid attention to how to cultivate students’ core physical literacy in teaching,establish scientific thinking,and construct physical models has become the majority of front-line teachers’ problems.Through reading the relevant literature on physical models,this paper combs the current situation of research on physical model teaching at home and abroad,and expounds the connotation of physical models and physical model teaching,the characteristics of physical models,and the main scientific methods used to construct physical models.Classify physical models according to their own characteristics and student development rules.Investigate students’ physical modeling ability through questionnaire and interview methods,and confirm their physical modeling level based on their core physical literacy.Design teaching strategies based on the current level of modeling among students,and carry out teaching practice of new teaching physics models for up to half a year.After teaching practice,the level of students’ model construction ability was evaluated again,and the results were significant.Finally,a physics model teaching program and teaching suggestions that can efficiently cultivate students’ physics modeling ability were summarized.Taking the teaching strategy of the new teaching physics model as the theory,and taking the new teaching particle model,flat throwing motion model,uniform circular motion model,and electric field line model as examples,the application of the new teaching physics model teaching strategy in physical models,process models,and virtual models is explained. |
