A Study On Improving The Quality Of College Students’ Voluntary Service Practice Education

With the rapid development of reform and opening process in our country,volunteer service has gradually become a way of college students to contact with society,serve society,and make contribution to society.As an important channel for colleges and universities to effectively play the practical education function,voluntary service can improve the ideological consciousness of college students,cultivate their moral cultivation and will character,improve their ideological and moral and scientific and cultural quality,and enhance their sense of social responsibility and mission.It has important theoretical and practical significance for how to improve the quality of college students’ voluntary service practice education and effectively improve the level of college students’ voluntary service practice education.Under the guidance of Marx’s theory of all-round human development and the thoughts of the Communist Party of China on voluntary service and practical education,this paper uses literature research method,investigation method and cross research method to study the problem of improving the quality of college students’ voluntary service practical education.The main content of the full text includes four parts: first,the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of college students’ voluntary service practice education;Second,the characteristics and significance of college students’ voluntary service practice;Third,the analysis of the current situation of college students’ voluntary service practice;Fourth,the way to improve the quality of college students’ voluntary service practice education.The main contents and viewpoints of this paper are as follows: first,the main characteristics of college students’ voluntary service practice education are: extensive participation,diversity of organizations,educational activities,social benefits.Second,the significance of college students’ voluntary service practice education: it helps establish college students’ life pursuit of serving the people and contributing to society,forms a good fashion of loving collective helping others,promotes college students’ growth and talents,and leads the vigorous development of the whole society’s voluntary service.Thirdly,through the investigation of the basic situation of college students’ voluntary service practice education in Shaanxi Province,the paper analyzes the main problems existing in the practice education of college students’ voluntary service: some college students do not know enough about the spirit of voluntary service,the content of college students’ voluntary service practice education is simple,the propaganda means is single,the sustainability is poor,and the guarantee mechanism is not comprehensive.Fourthly,the main reasons for the above problems are as follows: the voluntary service practice education system of college students has not been fully formed,the coordination of social support is not enough,the impact of value diversification,the influence of family structure,and the lack of self-education ability.Fifth,on the basis of investigation and research,from the aspects of colleges and universities,voluntary service organizations,society,families and college students,respectively,put forward ways to improve the quality of college students’ voluntary service practice education: colleges and universities to further promote the reform of voluntary service practice education;The society should strengthen the guidance and assistance to college students’ voluntary service practice education;The government and families should increase support for college students’ voluntary service activities.College students actively participate in voluntary service to realize the important way of practical education.
