In the era of mobile Internet,new media communication has become a normal mode of communication.The continuous development of social media platforms such as short videos has made it possible for the communication of middle schools in Henan Province,and the support of Henan Provincial Department of Education to the new media of middle school education has encouraged the media communication of middle schools.With the development of new media,middle schools in Henan Province began to increase social attention and enhance their communication influence by entering short video social media platforms such as Douyin.The media communication of middle schools in Henan Province further promotes the development of middle schools on the basis of improving the image of middle schools,but also brings opportunities and challenges for the education and publicity work of middle schools in Henan province and the development of schools.By means of content analysis method,network observation method,case study method and questionnaire survey,this study takes the video number of middle schools in Henan Province on Douyin short video platform as the main research object,takes other platforms as the reference,observes the practice activities of short video of middle schools in Henan province from the perspective of communication,explores the content presentation,communication characteristics and other related issues of short video of middle schools in Henan Province.The research perspective is placed in the middle school group in Henan Province,and strive to explore the new research direction of short video communication in middle schools in Henan province.The study found that compared with other social media platforms,the use of short video platforms based on Douyin has a more significant impact on the communication effect of video accounts in middle schools in Henan Province.The video number of middle schools in Henan Province has accumulated more communication experience after going through the preparation period and entering the growth period.The awareness of participating in media communication of middle schools has been enhanced,and the number of fans of video number has gradually increased.Through the media communication in recent years,the video accounts of middle schools in Henan Province are gradually adapting to the mobile,fragmented and social communication characteristics of short video platforms.With campus activities,image publicity,school teachers,school students,students’ college entrance examination and students’ graduation as the main content types,through the popular language features,emotional communication mode and fragmented visual expression,Henan Province has gradually formed the characteristics of the middle school video number.In addition,empowered by the short video social media platform,the video number of middle school in Henan Province innovates creative ideas based on the reality of the school,breaks the boundary between middle school and society,and provides the possibility for middle school to obtain resources and self-empowerment.At last,the paper summarizes and explains the current problems of video numbers in middle schools in Henan Province,and puts forward optimization suggestions for the future development path of video numbers in middle schools in Henan Province.It is believed that the future in-depth development of middle school video number in Henan Province can be explored from the aspects of optimizing content classification,standardizing content release,creating video popularity,improving presentation effect,deepening interactive thinking,attaching importance to off-campus environment,creating matrix communication,and focusing on talent cultivation.From the perspective of the communication of video numbers in middle schools in Henan Province,if the behavior of short video communication in middle schools is to become a "long-term mechanism" in the new media era,it is necessary to activate the subjectivity and innovation of middle schools and promote the media communication of middle schools through social media such as short video.
