As an important part of the excellent culture of the Chinese nation,traditional festivals have a great influence on our life.Traditional festivals contain customs,etiquette,moral beliefs and other content,have very important educational value.In recent years,in response to the national call to pay attention to and spread traditional culture,many kindergartens have started to carry out educational activities related to traditional festivals.However,due to the differences in the garden environment,teachers’ own quality and other aspects,the actual design and implementation of traditional festival activities,it is easy to lead to unsatisfactory educational results.This paper takes f Kindergarten in Xi ’an as the research object,uses the method of action research,goes deep into the actual education and teaching of the kindergarten,adopts the method of interview,case analysis and other methods,and finds that the teachers in the kindergarten attach importance to the knowledge orientation of the activity target and the selection of the activity content is limited when designing traditional holiday themed activities.At the same time,there are some problems,such as losing children’s subjectivity,lack of educational support strategies and not exerting the educational ecosystem,when the teachers implement the traditional holiday themed activities.On this basis,the existing problems are analyzed and summarized to find the reasons behind the problems.In combination with interviews with cooperative teachers,kindergarten leaders and teaching and research staff,we designed and carried out the Mid-Autumn Festival themed activity of "Full moon,sweet dream".In order to solve the problem that traditional festivals attach importance to knowledge orientation when they are integrated into the design of themed activities in kindergartens,this paper,through teaching and research with cooperative teachers and interviews with kindergarten leaders,jointly formulated the objectives of this activity including emotion,attitude,ability,knowledge and skills.In order to solve the problem of limited content selection when traditional festivals are integrated into kindergarten themed activity design,this paper develops and utilizes the actual resources of the kindergarten,and designs relevant activity content by integrating with the five fields.Based on the problem that teachers lost children’s subjectivity in the implementation of traditional holiday-themed activities in the early interviews,the first round of activities was implemented by combining games with teaching activities to enhance the fun of the activities and enhance children’s participation.In view of the lack of educational support strategies for teachers in carrying out activities,before the activities are carried out,educators are guided to participate in training activities,and new and old teachers help each other to increase teachers’ educational strategies;In view of the problem of under-utilized education ecosystem,parents were invited to participate in the activity to enhance the connection between home and family.In the first round of action,the following problems were found: teachers’ teaching language was not accurate,and the way of questioning was too closed;The introduction of activities is simple and lacks the use of educational media.Activity content lack of suitability and vividness.Based on this,when carrying out the second round of activities,the implementation points of theme activities are as follows: flexible selection of teaching media,highlighting the vividness of the theme content;Improve the standardization of teachers’ language,using open questions;Pay attention to the operation activity design,consolidate the Mid-Autumn Festival knowledge and experience.Through the implementation of the second round of activities,it is found that there are the following problems: the teaching guidance is stiff,the organization form of activities is single;Teachers do not grasp the key links of teaching;The content of the experiment is more difficult and there is no bedding in the early stage of the experiment.Based on this,the key points of the third round of implementation are adjusted to enrich the forms of activities and reflect the vitality of festival education.With the existing site,to promote children’s development in many ways.After three rounds of traditional festivals integrated into the theme activities and comprehensive research,the following conclusions are drawn: Through this action research,the comprehensive development of children in this kindergarten has been improved,the professional growth of educators has been promoted,and a breakthrough has been found for the characteristic development of this kindergarten.In addition,it also reflects on the deficiencies of action research,including: not fully exploring the resources of traditional festivals;The research scope is small;The research content is thin and so on.And put forward the following education suggestions: 1.Strengthen the training of teachers,establish a high level of teachers.2.In the practice of traditional festival education,a systematic and coherent theme activity plan should be constructed.3.Strengthen cooperation outside the park to form a "trinity" of educational forces.
