With the rapid economic and social development of our country,the process of industrial modernization and urbanization has been accelerated,which has further enhanced the vitality of cities and attracted a large number of rural people to cities for development.How to solve the dual structure of urban and rural areas in the new era and promote the development of the deep integration of urban and rural areas has become a global hotspot that urgently needs to be studied and solved.The new type of professional farmers provides a feasible way to solve this problem,and college students are the group that receives higher knowledge education and quality-oriented education.They have sustainable volume scale,higher level of cultural skills,strong sense of innovation and responsibility,and have the conditions to become the main force of the new type of professional farmers.It is of great significance to accelerate the process of agricultural modernization and rural revitalization in our country to encourage and guide college students to join new professional farmers in the new era of vigorously implementing rural revitalization and continuously promoting high-quality economic and social development and innovation.Guided by Maslow’s hierarchy of needs、Mc-Clelland ’s Need theory to High and Shulz human capital,this paper combs through the relevant literature and statistics at home and abroad,combs through the relevant research on college students engaged in agriculture at home and abroad,and on the basis of clarifying the concept and basic features of new vocational farmers,carries out a questionnaire survey on the willingness and influencing factors of 500 college students in Qingyuan City,Guangdong Province to enter new vocational farmers.By selecting 11 factors,such as individual characteristics,life value,state policy support,college education guidance and support of family and friends,the author makes assumptions about the factors that affect college students’ willingness to work.A two-category logistic regression model was established,and empirical analysis was carried out to determine that gender,life value,state policy support,college education guidance and family and friends support had a significant impact on college students’ intention to enter the profession.Finally,according to the results of data analysis,the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures are given from the aspects of perfecting and implementing the relevant safeguard policies,giving correct guidance to students in colleges and universities,and focusing on improving the return on investment in agriculture.
