Research On The Current Situation And Influencing Factors Of The Development Of After School Physical Education Service In Urban Primary Schools Of Hohhot Under The "Double Reduction" Policy

Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous development of China’s economic level,the deepening of education,and the heavier and heavier burden of students’ coursework,the state has implemented a series of "burden reduction" policies in order to reduce the burden of students,the implementation of the policy shortens the time of students in school,and the time of school is advanced,although the burden of students in school is reduced,but it increases the burden of students’ off-campus training,and many parents entrust their children to off-campus care institutions because they cannot pick up students from school on time.In order to solve problems such as transportation difficulties and physical health,the state has issued policy documents related to after-school services to call on primary and secondary schools across the country to carry out after-school services.Primary and secondary schools in the 4th district of Hohhot City actively responded to the call and successively carried out after-school services in different forms.As one of the components of after-school services,all schools are actively carrying out after-school sports services according to the actual situation,which can reduce students’ learning burden,alleviate the problem of parents’ "difficulty in picking up and drop-off",enhance students’ physical health,cultivate students’ interest in sports,and promote students’ all-round development.Through the literature method,questionnaire survey method,expert interview method and mathematical statistics method,this paper takes the current situation of after-school sports services in 12 primary schools in 4 urban districts of Hohhot City as the research object,takes the participants as the survey objects,conducts investigation and research in the form of questionnaires and interviews,understands the development of after-school sports service activities in urban primary schools in Hohhot City,analyzes and summarizes the factors affecting the development of after-school sports services in schools and puts forward countermeasures,so as to promote the high-quality development of after-school sports services.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:1.All primary schools in the urban area of Hohhot can carry out after-school services according to regulations and formulate corresponding rules and regulations,but they are not perfect;Publicity is done in a variety of ways,but it is not effective;The funding for the activities mainly comes from state financial subsidies;The main after-school services carried out by each school include homework guidance,reading,art and sports activities,and the after-school services are mainly carried out from 16:20 to 17:50 in the afternoon during the week,and the after-school services are mainly carried out for 90 minutes.2.The development of after-school sports service projects in primary schools in Hohhot is formulated according to the existing venues,equipment and facilities and students’ preferences,and the number of after-school sports services invited to parents varies from semester to each semester.Teachers aged 26-35 have different needs for the publicity effect of after-school sports services,and this age group pays more attention to the publicity effect of after-school sports services.3.School leaders and teachers have a supportive attitude towards the development of after-school sports services,and parents’ attitudes are different;Boys are more willing to participate in after-school sports services than girls.After-school sports services vary from school to school,mainly football and basketball;Schools offer after-school sports services differently each week,and students of different genders prefer different forms of instruction,boys prefer teachers to teach,and girls prefer to organize games.4.Most of the instructors of after-school sports services are bachelor’s graduates,and the age of teachers is younger,and there are more male teachers than female teachers.There are phenomena such as insufficient site facilities and shortage of teacher resources in all schools,and teachers’ satisfaction with venue equipment and facilities is average.Students in different grades are satisfied with after-school sports services differently.5.The main factors affecting the development of after-school sports services in schools are,from highest to lowest,parents’ support for after-school sports services,the promotion of after-school sports service policies,students’ academic pressure,the school’s curriculum and venue equipment and facilities.Suggestions:(1)Improve policies related to after-school sports services,refine the implementation content,increase supervision and management,and improve the evaluation system.(2)Broaden the sources of funding for after-school services;Increase publicity and change ideology.(3)The school regularly summarizes and evaluates the achievements of the after-school sports service stage;Give appropriate rewards to outstanding teachers;Strengthen exchanges with schools in the same district.(4)Expand the construction of the team of physical education teachers,strictly control the introduction of teacher qualifications,and appropriately increase the number of female teachers;Regular professional training for teachers.(5)Combine the traditional characteristics of Inner Mongolia to provide students with more rich sports programs;Improve site equipment and facilities,arrange regular maintenance.
