With the continuous acceleration of the aging process of our country.China is about to enter a deeply aging society.and the quality of life of the elderly has gradually become the focus of the entire society.In recent years.financial fraud cases against the elderly have occurred frequently.With the increasing number of such cases.the depression of the elderly caused by this has gradually appeared in front of us.The elderly are at a special stage in their lives.The elderly victims of financial fraud.as a vulnerable group with dual particularities.can hardly rely on their own strength to get out of depression.They lose a lot of wealth and will affect their physical and mental health.This not only endangers the rights and interests of the elderly.but also causes serious harm to the family and society.Therefore.the use of scientific treatment methods to deal with the depression and emotional problems faced by the elderly victims of financial fraud can help the elderly victims to break through the psychological barriers and return to a healthy old age.Taking the relevant case of a financial fraud case in Yantai City.Shandong Province as the research background.this paper investigates the elderly victims of financial fraud through interviews and questionnaires.studies the basic characteristics of the depression of the elderly victims of financial fraud from the perspective of small sample analysis.understands the factors of depression in this group.and conducts a preliminary analysis of the psychological needs of the elderly victims of financial fraud.After having a basic understanding of the depression of the victims of cases and financial fraud.the social worker selected the case intervention method of narrative therapy.and after the assessment and needs analysis of the depression of the service object.the narrative therapy mode was used to intervene in the service object.focusing on the advantages of the service object.enhancing the social support system of the service object.and helping the service object change the past problem narrative and re-establish a new narrative thinking through the process of narrative.externalization.rewriting and witnessing.Thus realizing the depression intervention for the elderly who are victims of financial fraud.and helping the service recipients to return to a better life.Based on the practical intervention and post-evaluation of the application of L narrative therapy in the service object L.this paper draws the following conclusions:the depression of the service object L is alleviated.its needs can be met.the service setting goal is basically achieved.and the narrative therapy is suitable for the interventional study of the depression of financial fraud victims.
