Research On The Application Of Adventure Counseling In Thr Resilience Improvement Group For Children From Single Parent Families

Research shows that children in single parent families often lack parental care due to the absence of their parents’ roles.Therefore,compared with children in two parent families,children in single parent Home Children are more likely to have problems related to physical and mental development,which are mainly manifested in deviation in self cognition,weak Interpersonal communication communication ability,closed self-locking,etc.,that is,low resilience,which will seriously affect the healthy growth of children.This study used participatory observation,unstructured interviews,and scales to investigate the resilience of children from a single parent Home Children in a class of F school.The results show that the resilience of single parent Home Children children in the selected classes of the school is low and there is a need to improve resilience.After screening six single parent Home Children who participated in group activities,under the guidance of the concept of adventure counseling,six group activities were designed and all activities were completed according to the intervention plan,so as to explore the role of adventure counseling skills in improving the resilience of single parent Home Children children.From the research data,it can be seen that group activities have improved the self-awareness and social skills of team members,and encouraged them to face and solve problems bravely.From the satisfaction survey results,the group members are relatively satisfied with the group activities,which proves that adventure counseling is feasible and effective for improving the resilience of single parent Home Children children,so it shows that adventure counseling is consistent with children’s physical and mental development characteristics.In short,adventure counseling can effectively help single parent Home Children children to establish correct self cognition,learn Social skills,and improve members’ sense of belonging to family and school,And then enhance the resilience of single parent Home Children children.
