Moving towards “school-based” has become a future tendency of teaching research in China.Since the nationwide construction of the "school-based" teaching and research system was launched in 2003,school-based training has been in full swing in the reform and development of China’s education for 20 years.School-based training is a teacher development approach based on school work,with teachers as the main body of training,focusing on solving teachers’ problems in education and teaching,improving teachers’ professional literacy and teaching abilities.Its essence is to return to school,to school teaching practice,to teachers and to students.In the face of new curriculum standards and new concepts posing new challenges to teachers’ professional literacy,how can school-based training become a new engine for teachers’ professional development,making it an urgent problem to promote the construction of high-quality school-based training.This study combines three methods: theoretical research,practical research and case study to sort out the research background,significance,related concepts,and current research status at home and abroad;interpreted the connotation,elements,characteristics and theoretical basis of school-based training;based on a survey of the current situation of school-based training in six primary and secondary schools in Yichang,problems were identified during the implementation of school-based training;by presenting the practice and innovation of schoolbased research and training in two schools,namely,Jinan Tianshan Experimental School and Beijing 11 th School One Branch,which provided useful reference for the sustainable and efficient development of school-based research and training in research area;through practical exploration and combined with the beneficial experience of case schools,it aims to propose specific strategies to promote the sustainable and efficient development of school-based training in research area.Through the above research,researchers have found that most schools can implement normalized school-based training,improve teachers’ professional development level and assist in the effective implementation of the new curriculum standards.However,there are also some problems: in terms of research planning and design,the main body of teachers is not prominent and some teachers’ enthusiasm for participating in training is not high;in terms of research methods and content,the training methods are standardized and the training content is disconnected from the actual needs of teachers;in terms of training support and guarantee,the systematic and targeted nature of professional guidance activities needs to be improved,and there are problems such as insufficient cooperation between teachers during the training process.The underlying reasons are: the lack of attention to stimulating the motivation of teachers,the lack of detailed targeting of teacher training needs,incomplete construction of professional leadership teams and the lack of shared vision among the teacher community.In view of the problems mentioned above,it is recommended to focus on the core issues from the training content;transformation of traditional school-based study methods;improve the school-based research support system to optimize the current situation of school-based research under the background of new curriculum standards in research area.
