Journey to the West is a landmark novel written by Wu Cheng’en,which is a representative work of Chinese classical mythological novels.It is based on Xuanzang’s novel,and the height of ancient novel romanticism.Since the beginning of the founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China,the selected texts of Journey to the West have often appeared in Chinese textbooks for secondary school students,and have also been listed as one of the required reading lists of famous works for secondary school students.Through the comparison of the teaching design of the whole book of Journey to the West,this paper probes into the teaching methods of the different course types of the whole book reading,explores the teaching strategies of the whole book reading,and sums up the successful experience of the whole book reading teaching.The paper is divided into five parts:In the introduction,firstly,the origin and significance of the study are expounded.Secondly,the author respectively on the whole book Reading Learning Task Group,the whole book reading teaching design,Journey to the West the whole book reading teaching design comparison literature review and analysis,in order to clarify the history and current situation of this problem research.Finally,determine the content and method of the study.The first chapter of the Journey to the West the whole book reading value and teaching design analysis.First of all,the author analyzes the literary reading value and reading teaching value of Journey to the West as a classic.Secondly,the whole book of Journey to the West reading teaching design from the book’s overall structure,the whole process of reading,reading the overall plan of these three aspects to interpret.The second chapter compares the whole book reading teaching design of Journey to the West.First of all,select six teachers,Journey to the West the whole book reading teaching design and clarify the reasons.Second,according to the three types of courses are specifically presented in the six teaching design.At last,the author compares and analyzes the six teaching designs from different angles,and reveals their similarities and differences in teaching objectives,teaching process and teaching effect.The third chapter is divided into four aspects: text interpretation,teaching methods,students’ development and teachers’ accomplishment.The conclusion part,first of all,summarizes the basic conclusions of this article,reflecting on the shortcomings of the existence.Second,the whole book reading theory research,the whole book reading teaching design and teaching practice prospects.
