With the gradual increase of the number of autistic children in China, more and more problems appear in the families of autistic children.Parents of autistic children need to pay a lot of time and energy to take care of their children, but few people pay attention to them. This kind of long-term care can cause great psychological pressure on parents. The parents of this long-term psychological pressure on the one hand will make their own anxiety, irritability and even depression,on the other hand is not conducive to the recovery of children. Therefore,it is necessary to pay close attention to the current situation of the families of autistic children, and also to relieve the psychological pressure they are under. At present,China’s social welfare policy on the disabled is not perfect, and few people pay attention to the parents of autistic children. This study aims to serve parents of autistic children, based on the theory of "people in the situation" and social support. The questionnaire,semi-structured interview and observation were used to collect relevant research data, analyze the current living conditions and problems of the clients, and then use psychosocial treatment model to intervene them.In this study,a social worker interviewed the mother of an autistic child who became very anxious and pessimistic about her future life after her child was diagnosed, night also often insomnia, tossing and turning to sleep. It was found that the causes of her psychological stress were long-term care, heavy financial burden, bad relationship between husband and wife, and lack of social support.According to this, the social worker uses the psycho-social treatment pattern, and the service object l understands her demand together, and determines the corresponding service goal. There are four main needs of clients at present: easing negative emotions, easing marital conflict, strengthening People skills and building social support networks. The overall goal of the service is to help clients enhance their understanding of their own, ease their psychological pressure, build up the courage to overcome difficulties, and establish a positive attitude towards life.In the practical process of this paper,in order to achieve the service objectives,a total of 18 times of intervention services, and social workers will be detailed records of the specific service process. In the process of intervention,PSTR psychological stress scale was used to evaluate the change of the clients. In the concrete service process, the social worker first has carried on the direct intervention to the service object, helped the service object to establish the self-confidence,alleviates the service object’s negative emotion, after the social worker links the resources, helps the service object to strengthen the People skills,to ease the financial burden on their families. At the end of the service, the evaluation of the whole service process can determine that the service object has made significant progress, psychological pressure has been alleviated. Finally, the researcher reflects on the methods of case work, the role of social workers, the ethics of social work and the practice of social work, although the use of Case Work Theory model intervention effect is more obvious, but its professional characteristics more ambiguous.Secondly, any role that social workers play in the process of service implementation plays an irreplaceable role in relieving the psychological pressure of the clients.Thirdly,it is necessary to strengthen the protection of the privacy of the service object and respect the will of the service object to carry out the practical work. Finally, there is a need to enhance the professional capacity of social workers and to strengthen follow-up services.
