Research On The Professional Ability Construction Of Instructors In Higher Vocational Colleges

In the daily operation and student management of higher vocational colleges,counselor group is a key post composition that to ensure the normal operation of the college.Meanwhile the counselor group is the core force of ideological and political education for college students,the development and education of students will be directly affected by the counselor’s own ability.In the course of development in recent years,the students scale of higher vocational colleges continues to expand.Faced with Faced with more challenging job demands,some counselors cannot quickly adapt to the phenomenon.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the vocational ability of counselors in higher vocational colleges.After a comprehensive summarizing of most of the domestic and foreign literatures related to vocational ability,this article has grasped the specific situation of relevant researches at the present stage.First,it discusses the definitions of counselors’ professional ability,higher vocational colleges,counselors,etc.,as well as basic theories such as motivation theory and competence theory.On the basis of the vocational ability analysis model of college counselors,combining with the characteristics of JD vocational and technical college,this article constructs the vocational ability analysis model of JD vocational and technical college counselors.Then researched and analyzed the teaching level of counselors in JD Vocational and Technical College,collected relevant information through questionnaire surveys,used SPSS 22.0,and based on the collected data,regression analysis,correlation analysis and other research and analysis methods was used to study and analyze the vocational ability and relevant factors of counselors.Through regression analysis,we can find that the specific values of the regression coefficients of education ability,guiding ability,service ability,management ability,communication ability,learning ability,research ability and innovation ability in the professional ability of counselors were 0.572、0.538、0.631、0.635、0.693、0.622、0.793、0.689.It can be seen that the stronger the eight vocational abilities of counselors in JD Vocational and Technical College are,the stronger the professional ability is and the higher the vocational comprehensive ability is,which is of positive significance to the construction of counselors team.Finally,the research results pointed out that the countermeasures and measures to improve the vocational ability of counselors in JD Vocational and Technical College which based on the vocational ability analysis model mainly include: optimize the team of counselors by establishing scientific selection system,constructing sound training system and setting up exit mechanism;Set up the professional confidence of counselors by improving professional quality,establishing professional association of counselors,developing counselors’ transferable skills,giving full play to their active role,and comprehensively enhancing their learning and practice ability;Provide the motivation for the development of counselors by optimizing the performance incentive system and by providing job security policies.
